This podcast is getting better and better I really enjoy your discussions. But I can`t help thinking that something really helpful will be to hear more advice and more directions for students that just started their PhD in this area of wireless communications and 5G technologies.

This has been a great conversation! I could've easily spent few hours more listening to you guys. Looking forward to having Angel back to discuss the paper tsunami topic!

10:52 I can't believe that I encountered an analogy that I came up with a couple of months ago :), the funny thing is that I viewed the 5G FR1 baseband as the LTE baseband on steroids in a discussion, the point being the fact that we have more PRB's, layers, larger subcarrier spacings, etc.

What Japanese truck agencies are you referring to and what are the goals? The use of 5G for connected vehicles hasn't started yet, but will probably become an important use cases already in the next 5 years.

Thank you all for such insightful conversation. I also wanted to suggest you might want to consider discussing Orbital Angular Momentum multiplexing as a topic for future podcast.

Thanks for this great conversation. its great to hear the thoughts from the gems of wireless communications. Kindly make another podcast discussing the standards of research in which shed some light on (the question which Prof. Emil asked at the last few minutes of the podcast) how to get useful ideas rather than joining the race of paper publications.

This is awesome. I learned a lot. It would be great if you guys could get other prominent wireless researchers on this podcast and make it a regular thing.
