I have snow globes that are really old. Your directions for fixing then are awesome. A few of mine need new rubber stoppers but I’ve not been able to locate a store that sells them.

Hi Tracey and thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate it. It's great that you were able to use our videos to fix your globes. When we need to replace a rubber stopper we look in the thrift stores and flea markets for globes of the same size. We usually find a globe that we are not interested in that we use for parts and we'll take the stopper from there. We have never purchased a stopper, however, there are two online vendors that sell snow globe parts and accessories: National Artcraft and Snowdomes.com. They may have what you are looking for. I'll paste the links below. I have not done business with Snowdomes.com. We bought some snow globe snow from National Artcraft and it was a good exerience. I hope that helps. Thanks again for your support, now rescue those snow globes! Snowdomes.com www.snowdomes.com/category/Make-Your-Own-Snow-Globes.html National Artcraft www.nationalartcraft.com/group6.htm

@@snowgloberescue8887 good tip on finding same size thrift store globe. My daughter had her special globe shattered by our 2½ year old and replacement glass was $17 so a thrift store sounds perfect

@@Tyrel_156 Yes, we find snow globe all the time at Goodwill for under $5.00. That is normally where we find the snow globes that we use to fix other snow globes.

How long do you “hit it with the dryer”? I’ve been trying on a san fran globe for several minutes and the bottom portion just wont budge :/

Hi. It depends on how much glue was used and how old it is. We have had the covers nearly fall off after less than a minute and in some cases it took up to five minutes. It is possible that it was attached with something other than glue but that is doubtful especially if it is a San Fran Music Box Co globe. Have the hair dryer on high and a few inches from the edge of the cover. Check occasionally to make sure you are not melting the plastic. If it was assembled with hot glue it will eventually loosen. Good luck!

There are two companies that we know of where you can buy snow globe parts; Snowdomes and National ArtCraft. There are links to both in the video description.
