You guys did a fantastic job off road. I must admit I'd have trouble walking some of that route, let alone riding my bike through it. Brilliant videos. 👍👍🏍🏍

Great video Chris. Really enjoying this series - myself and some mates will be doing ACT UK in Sept. Really looking forward to the final 2 days. I live in Heysham ( you will have ridden past my house ). So Salter Fell over to Hawes is my backyard. I have just traded my 790 adventure and will be riding it on a 701 Enduro. Great vids really appreciate the effort you have put in to produce and share. Cheers 👍

Enjoyed the vid! I think Martin dropped his GSA as much as I did when I took the 2 day BMW off-road training 😂. I probably would’ve dropped more than he did on this trip.

Great great video, so sorry for your puncture problems. The UK doesn't stock anything useful unfortunately, everything has to be ordered here. I would have tried Gorilla tape around the rim, and lots of it ! Well filmed, thank you !

So green was my valley! Wales is grossly underrated. One of the best ADV countries imho. Have to tackle ACT next year (and Wern Dhu quarry and Strata Florida), after half of the Welsh TET last September. Hope you've picked up all screws ;-) Happy days, Günter/Nürnberg

I like the GS style rims as they don't require rim tape and can be fixed easily as they are tubeless.. I don't ride a GS I have a Guzzi V85TT. But same wheels... You should be paying £££ Martin as he is so good at creating content for you to record 😆😆

Hey Chris, I thought it was interesting when your paths separated due to your rim seal issue and there were essentially 2 stories running in the parallel. I also applaud you for the poll you recently ran on Instagram, asking whether episodes should be shorter. I definitely support shorter, tighter episodes.

Was it possible to fit a tube in your rear tyre...🤔 BMW seem to be really to heavy for knarly off roads spending a little bit of time on there crash bars..😉😉😉 anyway guys glad your enjoying uk .... very good series of vids👏👏👏👏

No that’s not really a good option because the valve hole is offset to the side of the rim. It may work as an emergency but on long distances it would tear off the valve from the tube… I think the big BMW GSA with the panniers is definitely more challenging then the Norden with the Reckless80 from Mosko… but still possible on the GSA

ACT is designed for big adventure bikes, the people who put the routes together are from the big and powerful is best school of motorcycling. They are wrong of course. A big heavy bike off-road removes a lot of the enjoyment.

@@chris.moon.travelsYou can get tubes with offset valves. I suppose it was good click bait. And another reason for not trusting a KTM.

Couldn't you put in a inner tyre to seal off the puncture problem. I wonder why KTM liverpool did not came up with that solutrion ?
@chris.moon.travels

Unfortunately it’s not possible to put a tube inside because the valve hole of the rim is placed offset to the side because it’s a tubeless rim.

@@chris.moon.travels i see. so unfortunate for KTM/Husky then. Maybe they should look at Triumph & BMW next time they design their rims. Put them spokes on the side, aside the air enclosure. anyway, good video, did the same ACT in july last year. Stephan, Belgium

@@triskelworkshop2855 I think most of the adventure bikes with 800+ cc from any brand have offset valves on the stock rear rim. I think it was the same on my F800GS and R1200GSA in the past
