Thank you so much!! I really like working with patons linen. It’s not as “splity” as some other linen yarn! Of course it’s a little more rough on the hands but not as noticeable in crochet as compared to knitting!

The jacket story has been so fun to follow and I love what you’ve decided to do! Very cool. Gardner’s world is my fav and honestly what got me inspired to redo my back yard into a zoned garden last year. I was actually amazed how much I knew once I started and it’s all from watching them and yes, the Monty crush is legit. Own it. I do. 😂 We installed raised beds at the end of the season last year and so far have just focused on building really great soil - I’ll do my first planting late summer (just some herbs) to test it all out then trying bigger plantings next spring. I like the slow easy time line of gardening. I love podcasts with variety! My favs are (you), Tales From Cuckoo land, Sandy By The Lakeside and for gardening check out Growfully with Jenna - she’s amazing ❤❤❤❤❤

I think the extra pieces would make a beautiful project bag. Your new blouse turned out so beautifully. A tip for easy ruffles or gathers is to make two or even three rows of basting/long stitches instead of just one. I resisted for years as it seemed an unnecessary extra step, but I wasted time trying to get the fullness evenly distributed and straight. Extra rows of the gathering stitches make it easy the first time. Also, I love Smoke Bush, very popular where I lived in upstate NY.

Ohh I’ve been doing two rows of basting stitches but I’ve never tried THREE! I am totally going to do that. Thank you 😃

OMG! I always loved your Carpet Coat, as you might have gathered from my previous gushing comments about it, but now it's even better. So glad you figured out how to make it more fitted. That is what had kept me from starting one myself, fear of the enormous size. As I'm really petite, it would just have swallowed me. Making standard knitting patterns actually fit is my biggest challenge. Now I feel like I might be ready to give that design a try. And...your Flower Power pullover is gorgeous! Wow! Loving the colors and can't wait to see the finished item. Thanks for the tips on knitting it. Hope your allergies calm down soon! Barbara😍
