It's a hard day when you have to learn that we can be "deceived by the promises" of God. At some point in your relationship with God, you have to give Him the right to manipulate you if it is in your best interest. Like giving your kid medicine and telling them it's a sweet... Sometimes God tells you to do something, all the while knowing it won't work. Tough lessons in trusting and following God.
