Tenaya Lake, at 8,150 ft elevation, is the largest natural lake in Yosemite National Park. Before arriving in Yosemite, we discovered a new problem with wear on both of our front tires. We travelled Route 49 on the western edge of the park. We do not recommend this route for RVs! One of the first places we stopped in the park was Olmsted Point, which gives you a view of the northern side of Half Dome. Hiking around Tenaya Lake was easy, but not many people bother. It was really worth the view. We also got to see some rock climbers along the way. We are glad we did this short hike!
