Denan "The Beak" Kemp never doubt your contributions to the Wahs club whether you play 1 game or 300 games for our Wahs. "Once a Warrior, always a Warrior" Cheers Jacko for exposing The Beak to the Kiwi masses. Up the Mighty Wahs 💪🏾

I was a season ticket holder when he signed for us and must admit i rode him hard for looking like he was shying away from hard work. I then met him at a hospo tent and he seemed real shy/nervous but it's really good to see him doing this successful podcast. To answer your question from the hospo tent years ago, denan, yeah i occasionally piped up with a critique.......

Cheers Kempy, was the relaxed, casual style interviewing and some good guests back in the day that got me onboard. And you always had the warriors back when the rest of aussie media just put the slipper in

Love kempy. Have follwed his journey from a upcoming player from the broncos to his warriors stint and then the climb to success with the locker room and bloke. Amazing analyst who understands the culture and environment m and struggles to be a nrl player. Well done kempy more success to you for all your future endeavours.

warriors are so weird at one time they had RTS, SJ, Isaac Luke, Tohu, Kata, Maumalo nearly the whole Kiwi squad, on paper looked overpowered but didn't do anything, now they got a squad thats nowhere near as explosive and dynamic and they are biting down on their mouth guard and playing as a unit

Webby is definitely not a rookie coach, he has had a long apprenticeship over many years, his time with Penrith was more or less the finishing touch. Unlike some coaches who get the nod because of their ex player status or they were an assistant at a successful club for a stint, Webby did it the proper way, and it's paying off big time.

Webster also spent time at Warriors a few years ago where he saw Elliot sacked and the struggles of Cappy as a fillin coach so he knew the "culture" of what would likely work and what likely would not before arriving. I guess he is a "rookie" head coach but he has had a great apprenticeship and now has his own style as a "man manager" type coach in the Bennett mold which obviously suits the clab. One of the main things I like is he actually wanted the Warriors gig and wants to be a long term coach here for many years. It obviously means far more to him than just being a NRL head coach.

He absolutely is a rookie NRL head coach. Just like a players 1st season of NRL makes them a rookie. They may have been playing league since the age of 5 but they're still a rookie

@@davidhewitt126 Well he was head coach at tigers very briefly and likely learnt something of the pressure head coaching brings etc but whatever it doesn't really matter.

I agree. There were places that Kemp wanted to take the conversation but got cut off. It seemed like the host already had pre determined questions and wanted to get them out as opposed to seeing where the chat went. He was probably just excited but it's so messy when there are two people talking or interruptions.

The reason why Rugby League media deal is worth hundreds of millions less than AFL is because V'Landys s a media guy and sold league for peanuts
