In this episode I demonstrate how I would go about practicing a melody. Basically, I just play it over and over again, trying to get it to sound better and better. I'm also trying to use some restraint, to make sure I don't stray to far away from the melody if I start to embellish or anything. The melody example I chose for this today is the great Lee Morgan tune "The Joker".
