Palawan, Caramoan, and Samar also have limestone beaches/ islands. But they are geographically scattered unlike in Thailand wherein the concentrations are mostly located in the Andaman Sea (Krabi, Phuket, Phang-Nga). Both countries are amazing, and I've been working here in BKK :P

Thanks for appreciating our beaches in our country, the Philippines. Its true, not all islands has limestones but if you visit Palawan then you can find and see all those beautiful limestones. Anyways, thanks to u and your friend visiting our cpuntry. Stay safe.

Good for you Sunny, you look like a local who grow up abroad 5555 😅. We also eat Indian cherry, we called it Alatiris; Moringa leaves, we called it Malunggay; as well as the beans 😁. Filipinos everywhere can speak and understand English, that's why you don't have to worry if you get lost. Daing or danggit is a dried fish. It is popular in Cebu and one of the most imported fish abroad due to its bite size, crunchy and not so salty flavor. Grab it while you are in Bantayan Island. Good luck!
Nice vlog! Bantayan is just one of those islands in the Philippines with world class beach. Btw, Philippines also have that limestones cliffs and formation in El Nido, Coron and Caramoan. I think you should also visit these places, most especially El Nido, Coron and other places in Palawan. You will not regret it for sure. Also, since you are in Bantayan you might want to visit the nearby Malapascua island. Keep safe and enjoy!

2:00 True friend. Since we live in an Island with volcanoes, earthquakes and typhoons, its really hard to build infrastructure. This natural disaster made transportation hard in the Philippines. If you're a type of person who wants everything to be perfect, you will find it stressful. But if you're an adventurous type, you will find it so fun despite the chaos. Haha. The fun part too is that for 1 destination here in PH, sometimes you need to ride a lot of vehicles: tricycle, motorcycle, jeep, bus, small boat, big boat, airplane. 😂 On the positive side, since the transportation is not controlled by one company, many local are having a work being a driver. The negative side of this, the price is not fixed and is prone to scammers. 😂 We, Filipinos, need to study more to solve this challenging archipelago and natural weather condition we have. Also the politics. But despite the chaos, the beauty of the nature are very pretty due to the yearly natural disaster. 😅 Somehow the weather is either cleaning or destroying the nature. The humans are saving or destroying the nature too. 🤣
This is a breath of fresh air, from a tourist’s point of view of our country with no cuts and transparent views only. Very informative not only to foreigners but also for locals like me who’s planning to travel on a budget. I had a great time watching your Philippine episodes, will check out your other videos as well. Safe travels!!

This video is really amazing. You have showed some fruits and trees along the way. I was living in Cebu City for 10years but I haven't been in this island not until I watched your video. It regrets me of now exploring Cebu City. Wonderful experience you have.
I’m honestly enjoying your vlogs, especially the messages at the end. I’m really jealous that you travelled most places in my country more than me, and I’ve only been to ONE island which is Luzon where I live 🥲. But I hope you guys have a safe travel and most importantly, enjoy and make memories along the way! It’s also good to see that you have a travel buddy which means you’re not alone and that you can look after each other too. Have a nice trip Kuya Sunny 👋🏼
Indo country is three times bigger than the Philippines. Philippines has 7600+ islands. Multiply 7,600 x 3 = 22,800 islands.. So Philippines has more islands clustered in an area near Pacific ocean, whereas Indo islands are too far away from each other
I’ve been to Thailand many times and it’s the first country I’ve visited.. But I am not amazed unlike when I went to Palawan & Boracay.. Their beaches is also beautiful but most of them looks ordinary to me.. We got overcharged many times for the Island tour in Phuket😅.. But Thailand is one of my favorite country, before pandemic I always go there once or twice every year.. It felt home to me❤️.. Hope to visit again especially in Udon Thani to meet my Thai friend.. Thais are also friendly and very similar to us Pinoy❤️..

When we did the boat tours in Palawan (in El Nido, Linapacan, Coron), every stop was so magical! The water was so clear, the rock formations are so beautiful, and there are a lot to do. My favorite spots in EL NIDO are Big lagoon, Matinloc Shrine, Hidden beach, Cadlao lagoon and its beach, Secret lagoon, Small lagoon, Secret beach, etc.. The places I mentioned are in El Nido, I didn't mention YET my favorites in Coron and Sohoton Cove coz my comment will be long 😄 Palawan is the most beautiful island in the world for me and it was voted multiple times too. I will visit Palawan again soon I'm so excited!💗 The only rock formation that somewhat wowed me in Thai was the "Maya Bay" but the other tour stops are boring and meh. The water is murky too lol.
Im from Philippines and i would never know this place exists if i didn't watch your videos. Khob khun krub! 🙏💙

Is so funny to me 🤣 9:18 another common food in Philippines is roasted chicken (355) and Liempo or pork (285). 10:02 The cheap juices you saw at the market in ep 2 and that nuko juice is called palamig (pa-la-mig) meaning cold drink 13:08 sadly no, its not really famous or known vegetable here. 13:14 yes you are right, that is police station. No translation but i think understandable. I was really scared for you on ep 1 and was like, ask help in police station when i saw the sign in your vlog, thankfully you are safe even with locals help. 15:40 thank you for appreciating our country 18:35 DAING is salted dried fish split in half, different from milkfish or BANGUS because daing is smaller size. Try to look or ask for danggit or bulad (dried fish or squid) which is also good and crusty, its popular in Cebu and Leyte. That's a wise saying that everybody should learn, thank you and safe travels!!! 😊 Tagalog word: *BAYAD PO* = here is my payment BAYAD means Pay while PO is a sign of respect in our culture (OPO, is respectful way of saying/answering yes instead of OO)

I do agree with you that getting around there can be quite a challenge for any tourist (given that we are an archipelagic country of 7000 plus islands compared to your country Thailand)... but the Philippines has many beautiful places waiting to be discovered. I hope you get to see more in your travels and enjoy our culture and hospitality that we Filipinos are known for. Stay safe always!
