I believe the first solar panels were built roughy in the mid-to-late 1950s by Bell Laboratories so they could lower remote telephone equipment without running wires. I remember seeing an ad in an Old National geographic from that time with them.

@@OfficialHardware Ah thanks a lot for watching! 🙏🏻 And yes GO for it, do it for yourself and the amazing memories you can then watch again and share later in your life. I just did IG for years but nothing better then a video, even though the editing takes forever, especially with my camera setup and that I don't have dragging long monologs like others.

@@vancomposerThanks for making the content 👌🏼just saving up the money and getting things in order but I should be driving around the UK before the end of the year 🤞🏼speaking of camera setup lol, are the cameras on top of the van just gopros or are they permanent?😂 just curious

@@hardwarecompositions2645 those are just cases for the Gopros, but I barerely use them anymore vs an Insta360 instead on the front left corner. It is just so much easier to reach that mount. There is however a Wyze cam pointing on the mountain bike which is permanent. Good luck with your build. 😎
