@Sleine Chow I think it's more likely a Indonesian Chinese food that isn't available in China Mainland because it was made by Chinese diaspora in Indonesia. Some American Chinese food is also not available in China either. The “pastel goreng” isnt the real pastel goreng, in Bandung city it called “Gehu” which means toGe taHu (Sprouts and Tofu). Pastel Goreng is more like fried pastry with veggies inside.

According to history it was neither, rendang was originally from Malay people, not from Malaysia and Indonesia but Malay people. Rendang exist before those 2 countries exist.
@FirstLast-uq7bn

@@blitzblaze4707 it exists more because of minang people who orginally from west sumatra, when you talking about malay grup it means whole sumatra island, malay peninsula, southern thailand and borneo, basiclly entire malay archipelago

@@FirstLast-uq7bn you do know that Malay is not a country, Malay was not just from west Sumatera but around Kalimantan, heck even Pinoy was Malay. Minang is not Malay like we know now, almost identical but not the same. Read more history bro, you might know one or two.

@@FirstLast-uq7bn Rendang was originally from Minangkabau, it exist before Indonesia and Malaysia. So don't think they are originally from this side or this side. Deal with the truth, Minang people is the oldest before Malay people exist, you could say they are old Malay.

Not to pick on you, but “Bahasa” means “language”, it doesn’t mean “Indonesian”. There is “Bahasa Malay”, “Bahasa Javanese”... Thus, the correct term should be “Bahasa Indonesian”.

It's okay though. you could just say Bahasa, people would know it's Indonesian. And actually you don't say bahasa javanese or bahasa malay, you only say Javanese or Malay.

When pandemi gone, pack your bag, make it light. Come visit Indonesia. Place to place, hop and eat. I grow up from Pontianak, island of Borneo. Fly there friday night, and fly back to Jakarta on Sunday night gain 5 - 6 kgs and start diet and gym again. Early morning, coffee with Pisang srikaya oh hoho, at 6 bubur ayam, at 8 nasi campur, at 10 go to yam mie, at 12 go to nasi kari, aterthat try ice cream "petrus" (because the location is infront of the school named Sto. Petrus), at that hunt "Che hun tiau", hm what time are we...hahaha... You can plan it well with local help. 2 day 2 night and you have not try them all.... Oh no I am hungry now, 😡 here is 2 am..... Indomie kari ahhhhh.
