We hope you all enjoy this weeks tiny house tour! It's always so exciting for me to see the ways in which tiny homes help to free up time and resources for people to do more of the things they love, and that's exactly what's happened with this wonderful home! Enjoy the tour and thanks for watching! Love, Bryce & Rasa

Brilliant 'yet again' !! Sooo glad for you both that NZ has a plethora of tiny homes for you to feature in this time of pandemic and great restrictions in place. Not sure if you've shared about plans as we go through late 2020 and well into 2021 in regards to what options can in fact 'be' pertaining to your business that is tiny home featuring. Are you possibly going to be building for others due to your plethora of knowledge? I certainly hope NZ and OZ end up opening up so that folks whom reside in either can travel to one another's country so that you have additional options. Sending you both all the very best. *Say hello to my favvvv country that I should have never left when was there in travels... in my humble opinion NZ far surpasses my Canada*

"Tiny house living has taught me that I don't need that many things" This is definitely a recurring thing we hear from tiny house folk. Couple that with the other recurring themes such as "easy to maintain", "quick to clean" and "financial freedom", and it's easy to see why this is a fast growing lifestyle that simply makes sense.
@ChazEvansdale

A lot of people rent them out as AirBnBs, which I didn't like at first, but then I realized it lets people see if they lifestyle, more builds/designs to get inspiration from, more builders to choose from, and it means more people with suggestions of where to park (which still seems like the hardest part).

I really hope this channel gets more recognised because you guys are working so hard. Living big in a tiny house has been the most refreshing content on KZitem for me, so thanks a lot ! "Relatively low cost life style"... So, they must be paying some form of rent to the land owners, correct?
@Jason_Greenwood
4 жыл бұрын
Yes we do but it’s farrrrr less than a rental house in Auckland I can assure you. All up, with the tiny loan repayments, insurance and land rent it’s still less than what we used to pay in rent at our previous rental. And we’ll own an asset at the end of it. 😉🙌🏻

@@Jason_Greenwood Well done! I could only imagine how much money you have saved in that process. People often forget to consider the standard cost of living when factoring in the costs to either make, purchase, and/or rent the land your living on. The fact that you will eventually own that land makes it seem even more attractive. Good luck to you guys!

Lovely...all if it...video and couple and home... besides baskets at end if bed where do they keep clothes? And heating? And, the dog? I bet they could fit in a dish drawer or a washer dryer combo... also could upper stairs tread lift up instead of drawer for bit more storage?
@Jason_Greenwood
4 жыл бұрын
There is space at the bedside for clothes and the wicker drawers under the TV also hold clothes. There is also space in the spare mezzanine and shipping container. Heating is usually no issue as it stays very warm but if we need heating, a few candles will usually do it or we heat the oil column heater for an hour or so and that’s it. The dog belongs to the landlord and visits us daily. 😉 We have a clothes washer in the bathroom now and will put a dish drawer in the kitchen at some stage once our homebiogas system gets here from the States and we reconfigure the kitchen. 🤓
