Indeed. Chocolate sprinkles on bread is a big thing in Holland.

Interesting. Dutch urban and suburban environments are generally designed with cyclists and pedestrians in mind (and are way less car centric than most of the developed world) hence our average supermarket is a lot smaller and closer to (or within) residential neighborhoods than those you see in many other places. As a result people often go shopping daily, at least for food items, instead of weekly. Given the limited transport capabilities of a bike, it is harder to incentivize people to buy stuff or quantities they don’t really need and this is in the end why the average dutch supermarket is smaller.

Loved your videos and channel! Thanks for sharing! I'm making 3 videos a week documenting my training for an ultra marathon in September. Seeing videos like this is really good motivation for me to keep making content. Keep up the great work. I'm looking forward to the next video!!!

The are also Albert Heijn XL (Albert Hine XL) stores. As the name suggests, they are biog and have a wider assortment. And I hope you figured out, that you have to get yourself a (free) bonuscard, in order to profit from the weekly discounts at Albert Hine.

You have no idea how to pronounce Dutch. But we don’t mind, funny though, ask a random Dutch person, and they will pronounce it. Yes we sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on bread, for ever now. What’s typical is that the majority that gets a lot of your attention is muck, but the good stuff is ignored mostly. This relates with Britain as being the most ill country of Europe. You come in lanes I never visit.
