Being from California, please dont leave that unattended with items in your front seat. Thieves will pop your window, they're pretty active at any event/tourist site/hotel. Awesome car, love the channel.

MY 2012 GT NC is the BEST road trip car! Start at midnight, get to grand canyon at sunrise! Drive through as much of UT as possible, racing the sun all day! THE BEST!!! 6000 miles is on the next level, it is on my bucket list.

Absolutely great. Thanks for editing from the Netherlands. I love the western part of the US. Nevada, Arizona, Utah and of course California. Did a road trip with a rental CX5 in September 2023. I was amazed by the beauty. The untouched nature and extinct areas, wow. Can’t compare it with the crowded and built up Western Europe. Wish I could bring my mx5 nd up there by a boat ferry or something. Unfortunately there is no affordable way to transport your car from Europe to US. This video helps me to enjoy it al over again. Looking forward to part 2 and maybe i will come back this year for a new road trip. US did something to me last year. Thank you for your great content from Europe. Cheers.🤩😁👌💪

First MIata experience. Fly from Edmonton to Kelowna to buy the car sight unseen. Road tripped it back in March where the Temp went from 20C to -5C. Had the top down the entire 12 hour trip. Bought numerous Tim Horton coffee's and only had 2 backpacks worth of luggage for me and my Son. Phenominal trip. Soon the Miata will be doing a 4000km trip from Edmonton to the North Carolina coast, which is what I bought it for.

Two modifications that I think you need in your life: a Smarttop roof module and a custom trimmed steering wheel, maybe a flat bottomed one to give extra room

Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing your love for Miata’s and road trips. I love everything you put together. *To clarify for your viewers…The city of Oceanside is in San Diego County, not LA County. Webb’s Brewery is in Orange County, not LA County. 👍🏽

47 mins very well spent. Thumbs up all the way. Thanks for putting this together; realizing how much effort is involved in these films (i.e. left hand shift (supposed your RH was holding the cam), driving at 35mph on 6th gear to minimize background noise, LOL). That stop-n-go leaving Vegas for San Diego had to have been taxing on the left foot... Can't wait to view Part II. 👍👍👍👍👍

I had no idea you worked with Todd and Paul from EveryDay Driver. As you were passing through Utah, that's all I could think about: "You need to meet up with ED on the way!". So cool that you are involved in their content, as well. Hopefully one day you all can collaborate on a video. I love these road trip vids -- I know they are a chore to produce, but I absolutely live for them!

Here is my packing tip (hack). Ditch the hard sided roller bag. Switch to a nice duffle. I never have a problem with fitting my bag in the overhead, or the NC trunk.

What a fantastic road trip. It certaining looks like driveing west will get you the best views. Corn fields can't compare to mountains an wind shaped rocks.

Epic video. I’ve been to the US twice now and we’re thinking about going back next year. We’re in love with all that you’ve shown in your video. Wish I could take my NA on the plane haha.. that would be a killer. Highway 1 with a Mustang GT was great but somehow I feel it would be so much better with a small Miata.. looking forward to your next video.

I'm even going back to factory springs and 225/50R17 tires to get some more clearance from the road. Anyone running 225/50R17 on an NC?

What is that little plastic piece for on your dash under the speaker? My NC had one similar when I bought it and I removed it but always wondered what it was there for. I figured a radar detector….?
