Interesting points about the algorithm. There is definitely a niche for gameplay videos though, it's something I seek out and the Codebreaker videos were the first of yours I watched. Part of what I enjoyed was the gameplay aspect. In any case, I rewatch almost all of the videos over multiple nights, so views-wise, I'm doing my part.

the game plays seem to be well received during the live streams... I am thinking of leaning into that (mixing in a bit of other stuff here and there) and promoting them that way and putting them into the game playlist... I will probably throw in an old fashioned gameplay or maybe whispered versions here and there... anyway, thanks for the input! much love

You used to talk a lot slower. Made it more relaxing. Too fast/jittery now. You used to have almost an NPR radio style cadence/tone, very slow and methodical. Just my 2¢. Much love Bill.

@@BillMaxVoxPax I appreciate you taking feedback and engaging with your audience, most creators would care less. This one melted (and still melts) my brain a long time ago, your entire setup including mic quality etc. If it won't link right it's your solving quadratics video. You also had some where you just calmly rambled and had slow beard sounds and slowly vaped or smoked a pipe? kzitem.info/news/bejne/1X5nmGlqnoaerXosi=mG0IX06ixNW3nsvv

Oh wow, you put it into words so simply! I found the channel from the "unintentional ASMR" Codebreaker compilation, and alongside that, I've been watching the solitaire video a lot for relaxation lately -- but not much of the other recent stuff has let me chill out like those things have. I think you hit the nail on the head as to why, so thank you for that. And cheers to Bill for taking the feedback well, just wanted to give a +1 to the concept

I agree with this. It's a big part of what makes ASMR work. The pace of old videos was great. It impacts inflection. For example, the math tutorial video(s).

Videos with the computer would probably do better if there was more keyboard clacking and mouse clicking. What comes to mind are the keyboard typing games we used to play in the 90s at school. That with whispering what you’re typing sounds pretty chillaxed

Bill an old time fan here from Bulgaria. Im not sure whether you've done a video on this topic but Id be very interested to hear / watch a video in which you share your take on "how do we prepare for the future careerwise in order not to get replaced by AI"... Or something along these lines. Just wpuld be very interesting and Im CERTAIN useful for many people to have your take on this very important topic of today. Thank you, bless you and may you be well and always as inspiring! All the best from Sofia, BG

thanks for the suggestion, I will keep it in mind. however, I am more likely to present such ideas on my @wcposchman channel, as I tend to get a bit worked up and therefore not very good for ASMR when I discuss such topics...

@@BillMaxVoxPax Ah it seems I have forgotten that 2nd channel. Ofcourse, as you see fit. No matter the channel or the media it would be great to hear your thoughts and opinions. I am asking for this because as an old time fan I have followed you and am very keen on your systematic and logic way of thinking, and Im familiar of your math background, AFAIK you're also an old school programmer and have worked in the field, so your opinion would be priceless to me. It would be very interesting to hear you speak about this. The reason - Ive been in IT as a tech support up until recently but havent worked as a programmer, nor do I have the formal education. Ive never been good with math. As a consequence doubts are eating on me a lot lately - doubts whether it's already too late to think of making first steps in the field... I would be also very grateful to think about you talking on this topic from broad perspective and not only related to IT. Just want to hear your opinion on it, hopefully in a detailed and long video because I think that not only I but many other people at my age (im 33) would benefit from your wisdom, life experience and logical way of tackling such problems. Huge respect and much love and would be looking forward to the video! Please make it and help us get some clarity with your hindsight and wisdom! Thanks

I appreciate everything you’re doing and can understand the importance of exploring more successful content, but I think I speak for more than just myself when I say that your gameplay videos are fantastic and it would be a shame to see them go altogether. I am also going do more game content in my live streams, as it seems well received there... so maybe a 2 birds one stone kind of thing... but.... Somebody called frivvi a gentle soul in her live stream and she said “meh, when I wanna be. I’m just a normal fuckin person, guys. Don’t put me on a pedestal.” And then she took a break because her tummy hurt and Tyler said she had to go poop so when she came back she saw his post in the chat and said “Everybody poops, Tyler!” And stuff like that
