Not sure if anyone explained the varying home costs yet, but the $2.1 million was 234 acres or almost 1 square km of land so that is a huge area. It may have a few structures on it but the vast majority of the cost if for the raw land value. The other listings that were in the $200-300,000 range were for primarily just the home with a smaller portion of that cost being for the land it sits on. Average single family home lots in America are around 7,000 square feet or 0.0006 square km so you can see that first listing was expensive because it was a huge piece of property.
@ThisWithThem
3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Stuart! I did notice it was for a large plot of land! That amount of land would be very rare to come across in a paper over here without it being bagged up by some massive company trying to build on top of it! So it does sound expensive but like you say that is a lot of land for that price!! 😱 It amazes me how much square footage the houses in America get! They are so much more spacious than ours and you get so much more land. It’s amazing!

Dr pepper originally was meant to be medicinal and has 23 flavors which is why it is so strong and is different for everyone. And is also the reason why it is so carbonated it's to help with upset stomach and to also help you burp because that can be quite uncomfortable. Is a little bit of an acquired taste but there are quite a few that like it. myself included. But if I had to pick it would be Coca-Cola or Mountain Dew which believe it or not is made from orange juice concentrate. And while I liked Pepsi when I was younger can't stand it now. It is made with the flavor of pepsin which was given by doctors to help with digestion. But I can't stomach it. And if anybody sees this someone please send them Stewart's orange cream soda! And if you come to Columbus swing by Dayton Ohio the home place of aviation. And take look at the Orville and Wilbur Wright Museum as well as the Wright-Patterson Air Force Museum which I am close to. That also has IMAX movies. And also take a trip to the Carillon Bells Historical Park. And another small interesting fact 23 Ohioans were NASA Astronauts. Also consider going to Kings Island amusement park. It would probably be the most fun you two have ever had!

Ahh a box from my city! Honestly, I wasn't expecting much because this is a very boring town (to me) but Amy & Jeff did a great job with this box! I don't like Dr. Pepper either but I do recommend drinking it COLD. Very cold, not room temp. It tastes a bit more flavorful that way. And Mentos were originally a chewy mint. Then they started making different types and flavors. When you see the fruit flavored kind you don't expect it to actually taste like a mint but it has the same texture as the original mint. Even though they are more of candy, they aren't necessarily designed to eat like you would a bag of skittles. They're designed for you to eat just a couple at a time like you would a mint. (Sorry for the long comment lol).

Houses in America vary quite a lot. Where in Europe you might be limited by your city’s or neighbourhood’s zoning standards, most US codes don’t restrict residential homes. Most are built with wood frames, with insulation and a varied facade outside (brick, wood, or plastic siding), and mostly drywall inside. This is to keep build prices down as property ownership has always been a huge aspect of American life. UK homes are generally stone with plaster walls for longevity as property costs were always high due to low availability to the average person (historically.) You’ll find that American homes most of the time recessed from the street as well, while UK homes are generally flush with the pavement. This is due to the UK system of sewers and utilities, which run alongside streets. In the US, the properties are larger and less standardized, and most small municipalities do not have own sewers or running water provided. The homes have underground septic tanks and get water from underground aquifers via electric pumps.

Yeah I’ve seen so many different styles and types of houses and such an array of prices in the US!!! Ahh I see. That makes sense. Yeah we definitely have a shortage of houses over here atm! This is said with no disrespect, just an observation. Here in America I’ve always heard how all these other countries are fluent in so many languages, especially Europe because of all the different languages right there, and how Americans are so behind in this area. So it always catches me off guard when British people don’t know how to say pretty common things in Spanish or know what they mean. I guess maybe because we are so close to Mexico? But isn’t Spain close by? Like I said I don’t mean that disrespectful or rude. Just not what I have heard my whole life and I felt kind of dumb for not knowing all these other languages but it seems British people don’t either (I don’t really watch other foreigners on KZitem outside of Britain and Canadian KZitemrs). Hope that makes sense what I’m saying. I’m curious on your thoughts on this not being American.

Original mentos were chewable mints that come in a long paper tube then they started to make mentos gum. Mentos is just a brand it doesnt mean they are mints. But what you had was gum and they also have chewable fruit chews instead of the chewable mints

This box is making me hungry for sweets. I normally don't go reaching for sweet snacks normally I would reach for something savory. I need to go get a sweet snack now. The Dr Pepper Cream Soda is one of my mother and I favorite drink. It's hard to keep in stock I have seen number of people who love it will buy several bottles of it.

I'll have to check local stores for pretzel poptarts, Chips Ahoy Sour Patch Kids and the other Sour Patch kids variety you tried. Sour Patch Kids are my favorite. Also, just happened to try that Sprite Ginger this weekend, couldn't taste the ginger either. Also, Ding Dongs were a thing of my childhood, so recently happened to find a recipe for a Ding Dong cake, was a bit of fun nostalgia

Definitely!! They were delicious 😋 Those crush sour patch kids were so good. Hope you can find them and enjoy them! Yeah weird, they definitely could have added much more ginger! Wow!! Ding dong cake sounds amazing 😍😍
