In this video on histone replication and epigenetic maintenance, we discuss how histones are copied and histone modifications are maintained when DNA is replicated in the S phase. We look at DNA methylation restoration, histone restoration, and histone methylation restoration during and after DNA replication. There are three main models to explain how all these processes work. Towards the end we discuss the speed of histone recovery and importance of histone distribution bias during cell cycle.
