It's a interesting change in your tactics just by going into defensive and the way you're organizing your armies is unorthodox. It'll be interesting to see the Union based on their difficulties if they would actually invade the South or if they don't in some regions. Thanks for making the 1st Georgia Sharpshooter's

Well, it's unorthodox "for me", at any rate. I think some other players recruit smaller but more numerous brigades than I typically have in the past. So thought I'd give that approach a try. Not gonna lie...I'm somewhat skeptical of it.

Hope to see Stand Watie, Tandy Walker and their Indian troops. Stand Watie was the principal chief of the Cherokees and the senior most Indian officer on either side. Watie also had the distinction of being the last senior Confederate officer to surrender his command at the end of the war. People tend to ignore the contribution the Native allies made to the Confederate war effort.

Back row from left to right Albert Sidney Johnson, Braxton Bragg, Edmund Kirby-Smith and Samuel Cooper Front row left to right John Bell Hood, Pierre Gustave Toutant Beauregard, Robert E. Lee and Joe Johnson. I think the connection you’re looking for is that they were all full generals. Even though John Bell Hood was only ever acting general while he was commanding the Army of Tennessee and reverted back to Lieutenant General afterwards.

There were 5 total full generals(four star equivalent) in the confederacy, A.S. Johnson, R.E. Lee, P.G.T. Beauregard, J. Johnson, and Samuel Cooper, the last being considered the highest ranking full general due to seniority and more akin to a five star. The rest were Lt. Gens (3 star), Maj. Gens (2 star), and Brig. Gens. (1 star).

Here is a quote from Capt. Mueller regarding AI Personalities. It seems different than most of us suspected. “ Captain Müller (KGF) [developer] Aug 11 @ 1:27pm AI Personalities are actually working in the background and are just differently balanced probabilities for researching policies, adjusting subsidies, applying projects etc. They do not affect AI behavior like movement, offensives etc. To add a variation to game play we created them into different directions. So in short: they adjust the framework (finances, recruitment, projects, policies) but not the actual military behavior.”

@@cragnamorra I kinda was thinking about a cav unit with mixed muskets led by a bad political officer and their soul purpose would be to raid deep behind enemy lines. Basically a suicide mission similar to what actually happened in the ACW. I don't think it is suitable for your plans in this campaign though. It's also a lot to ask for throwing away a unit like that.

Well, no, in the sense that it will not "officially" turn Confederate. CSA essentially already holds it anyway though, at campaign start. All the forts in IT are ours, and CSA support is much higher there than Union's. IT just doesn't formally flip during campaign like MO or KY can (or WV to Union). In some circumstances IT can start Confederate, depending on initial starter policies; but not in this campaign.
