All that's coming to mind are jokes about Dan being in the hotseat and Amanda getting her ducks in a row. And Morpeth is awesome, if you like a river as opposed to a lake.

I live only 3 kms north of Belmont. Lake Macquarie only gets down to 15 degrees c Water Temp midwinter. There are a number of nice spots and place to visit close-by, from the Wattagan's to The Ocean Beaches via the Lake. We get NO frosts here (east of the lake), just 3 fogs a year (Min temp each year gets down to 5 degrees c). I have had to give away my plum and cherry trees because I ain't cold enough, and settle for Sugar Cane, Jackfruit, Dragonfruit, Mango, Bananas Custard Apple and even Pineapple can grow in protected spots.. This is because we are perched between Pacific ocean and Lake Macquarie ( which is he largest COASTAL lake in Australia) Average rainfall is about 1 m. a year. When we get storms which come from Sydney or go there, the storms are never as bad as in Sydney. We get a bad storm about every 7 years. Last one was in 2014 ( hmmm .. another one due this year..)

Belmont was such a beautiful spot for us, I can't actually believe we didn't visit there more often. Fingers crossed no big storm, need a little break from bad things. Thanks for watching and all the info!

Hi there ... how do you do tours, National Parks or go out for dinner etc with 2 dogs. Caravan don't let you leave dogs in the van. Just started watching your video Cheers Sam and Aaron

Hi Sam & Aaron! For national parks we book a kennel, doggy day care, a sitter, etc. Dinner we go to dog friendly places mostly pubs, but there's lost of breakfast places that are really nice and allow dogs so we mostly do breakfast or lunch, but also takeaway picnics. Tours/attractions we either doggy day care or we leave them in the truck with the window open, depends on how long we will be and temp etc. Hope you're enjoying our vids!!
