Again, Dr. Gyawali had welcomed questions in previous episode from audience. So, here are my questions again : Questions: 1. How long until, Nepal ceases to exist? Both in definition of a failed state as well as/ or physically? If it fails, who would be the key player? in terms of either managing Nepal, softly(not that it isn't now..hehe) or taking major chunk of land. 2. Is Nepal's and Nepali's future , at the present scenario, nowhere but to migrate elsewhere? OR How long until Nepali people become global migrants, given the state of the country in terms of : economy, climate change and mere survival and existence. 3. Whomsoever comes to power, Nepal will remain the same. Your take on this. ( Bewastha badliye, janata ko awastha badliena.... Aakhir ma, chalne bhaneko MAALIK ra DATRI nikaya le je chahyo tei hune ho) 4. Isn't it high time that Nepal, if it still exists, focus its energy and resources, primarily on the happiness and basic amenities like education, food and health? I mean, it is not like we are going to be a production country anytime soon, given the state of "Bollocks policy making, bad governance and weak to no implementation of even good policies which actually benefit the common man. 5. We all have been hearing what potential Nepal holds from childhood. So, how do we achieve these potentials? And where are we constantly failing to achieve this utopian success? 6. Decentralization of power has been quoted as a roadblock for our setbacks as a nation. Given the state of the provincial government( you will not even find the presence, when you go looking for them), and how it has become a "BHARTI KENDRA", why do you think it should/shouldn't exist in context of our nation? and Why are the central leaders so keen to make provincial system defunct, and not supporting it? 7. We often hear how the three pillars of democracy should exist in harmony for a smooth functioning country. But as a common man, these very 3 pillars viz. Judiciary, Executive and Legislative, are blatantly corrupt and incompetent. The three always point fingers to each other. How much systematically corrupt is the executive in our nation. In an ever changing array of ministers and governments, it seems, as an outsider, the bureaucrats are actually the ones who are directing this country, be it to water or to a cliff. How true is this? 8. How is this country surviving without any major industrialization , excluding the labour export industry and trading industry? No wonder, there is a scarcity of JOBS, and even if a person finds one, it can't even sustain him let alone his family. 9. Your example on the British, taking cotton and re-selling it as Shirts, is quite similar to, having to sell grains to India and India re-selling the grains back to us at higher price. Can nothing be done, in terms of at least a few percentage of self sufficiency? and regarding providing of a basic backing and a guarantee market to a farmer? 10. Yedi, sachikkai, Nepal ko bhawishya garo cha, being a poor country to begin with and all, Desh bechidiye bhai-halyo ni ta. Purchasing power badera janthyo, cost of living ghat-thyo. Essai, pani, majority population has already shifted to different nations, or is keen to leave or shift, given the conditions at Nepal and the subsequent generation from them, is going to be a foreign citizen. India ma 1 Nrs parne saman excluding those that are heavily taxed, Nepal ko major cities ma pugda 20 NRS paprcha. Eka tira industry create garera domestic market matra cater garyo bhane, Nepal lai faida hunna pani bhanne, arko tira full on consumption ra consumerism tira janey,,,,,, In a way, herney ho bhaney, we are fully dependent on India, China and International Doners..... Yedi desh bechnai paryo bhane, kati bhaag ma ra kasari bechne raichan kunni? hahah.... 11. Buda-pakha le Jun jogi aaeni kan nai chireko essai bhanda rainachan....What is your take on this? PS. Espali ko chunab le ni sayad HUNG PARLIAMENT ra political instability nai dincha..... politics instable hune bittikai, multiple players haru le aafulai faida hune game khelna thalchan......heheh 12. What next for Nepal, given the turn of events and the government being formed out of desperation?

The one and only answer to your questions is, Nepal should throw western imported multiparty democracy in bin, regulate its borders especially the ones with India and adopt a one party system like Panchayat with accountability and start focusing on long-term projects and development. It needs to seek its own system that suits it and meets its desired goals. Democracy in Nepal is like having a house in a jungle and leaving all doors and windows open for wild animals to enter and eat you alive. Nepal's geography and the rift between its neighbors don't allow democracy to bring any positive result in the country. So we need to be objective and not parrot democracy as the best political system in the world.

@@sevenchakra5548 Civilization, culture, religion, traditions, etc bring societies together... No doubt about it. Religion has been, since the dawn of times, the biggest tool in global politics. Due to global pressure, and Nepal's situation as a buffer state, it is true in our case, that we are a far too valuable asset to the West, South and the North. But given the current scenario, it seems, Nepal will not stand the test of times, with maximum number of population flocking to developed parts of the world and acquiring a citizenship/PR there. The population analysis, also estimates that Nepal's population will start dwindling after 2048 AD onwards. It is only a matter of time. Only time will tell, how many billions of dollars were spent on Nepal's democracy by the west. Because, I for one, have personal experience from the first constituent assembly elections, wherein, bottles of liquor were poured and grooming of politicians was done, to an extent, of preparing their speeches which they would address the next day to the masses, in the name of seminar in some posh hotels of KTM , in the presence, guidance and supervision of International Mediators as well as national bodies. Don't be surprised, when in a few years time, people themselves start the outcry to merge or sell off Nepal. ( I think this was actually the master-plan all along)

But Dipak Ji is eloquent and well-informed in all aspects of the maze. Whether philosophy, economics, diplomacy, political affairs, or history he nails it down to exactly where the concern is. Interesting podcast .I respect Mr Dipak Gyawali sir knowledge and opinion .He is well aware of history ,politics, philosophy and all.Everyone has his/her opinion .Agreed on some point of view but not all ,like he is right that on 9th February 1990 during the annexation of West and East Germany ,then US seceratary of State James Baker ensured to then USSR president Mikhail Gorbachev and said "Not a one inch towards East" but unfortunately that haven't been implemented. It is also clear that there was also 1994 Trilateral statement on 14 January 1994 .The Massandra Accords set the stage for the ultimately successful trilateral talks. As the United States mediated between Russia and Ukraine, the three countries signed the Trilateral Statement on January 14, 1994. Ukraine committed to full disarmament, including strategic weapons, in exchange for economic support and security assurances from the United States and Russia. Ukriane agreed to transfer its nuclear warheads to Russia and accepted U.S. assistance in dismantling missiles, bombers, and nuclear infrastructure. The war would have been avoided in the initial phase .which would have been good for both Ukraine and Russia .Especially for Ukraine. Gyawali sir just picked up America and the west on the whole podast and try to justify it is only the fault of America .He didn't said any sigle sentence against Russia.we all hate war, we have to think of our country Nepal sandwiched between world's two powers.I found the interview is little bit biased and one sided just like he said against the western media.Mr Susant Pradhan didn't challange and cross question Mr Gyawali So it is not necessary to agree on all the things our scholar feeds us.we have to do our due diligence research by ourselves .

Very good talk show. Kalmyks and tuvans are also buddhists in russia. Like him, my father also recieved his education in Rus, so I took quite an interest in russian history, language, so much so that I used to read the 5 yr plans of ussr too!! The cause of ukraine russia war however has one major issue alongside the ones he mentioned. Since his career seems to be blessed (by well meaning white people), I assume he dares not talk about the legacy issues around european history as a catalyst to this war. To make it short, the legacy issues are hidden in plain sight as media houses do not talk of the original rift between UK and Russian commonwealth ambitions, and it started quite around 17th century. Same rift was apparent with the french, but after the french rebellion the original belligerent of french side nearly dissipated! but the same did not happen after the russian revolution. That legacy issue transpired to such levels that I say, "the most successful export of UK to europe is nothing but its legacy hate towards russia, through media and ingo channels (ref. poland and baltics)! Such visceral level of despise surely will lead to a war sooner than later. The rest of the world and serbia did not pick up on this export, but it worked well in weak and dependent european nations. I have developed more insights of this interesting historical unfolding but it would be long to type. I truly enjoyed shreman Gyawali jyu and would want at least a podcast series with guest apppearance on his and the other guest's ideas of todays state, future trends, past historical perspective of nepal etc. more nepal centric.

The best trick a devil can play is to make you believe that he is the God and everyone else is the devil. Hollywood is America biggest propaganda machine. The good guys, the heroes, the savior of the world are all Americans. America is a god gifted country and its "democracy" that it wants to export by spilling blood all over the world is God's gift to humanity. The Europeans who later became Americans are the civilized people, but the native Americans who were robbed of their land, who were hunted down on horseback like wild animals, who were killed by introduction of newer diseases brought from Europe are the uncivilized ones. The white colonizers are the civilized people but the people they colonized, the ones who lost their countries, religions, cultures, languages, way of living are the uncivilized ones. The Muslims are bad. The Russians are bad. The north-Korean leaders are bad. The Iranian leaders are bad. The Chinese are bad. But somehow America, a country built on genocide, slavery, violence is good. Yeah, Hollywood, Netflix, Amazon Prime, TV series, American celebrities have done a very good job propagating CIA's propaganda.

What he says is his perception of truth ,and he is a communist. And we all know what's happening to the Bear ,trying to hold a tiny bit of Donbas when their RT(Russia Times) news was saying they can capture Kiev within days🤣

@@SS-dj1yt So from your last sentence you've confirmed that NATO was helping Ukraine with weapons, logistics and information to fight the Russians thus delaying the projected Russian victory. The simple fact that you've labelled Gyawali as a communist shows your deep-rooted bigoted prejudice towards communists. This must be the result of American propaganda you've been swallowing for years if not decades. Go and watch if you can find, or read the recent interview of Angela Merkel where she offered the wick to the Russians in admitting that the Minsk accords of 2015 were nothing but a strategy to buy time to arm Ukraine to encircle Russia and fight them when the time was right.

America's Extraterritorial jurisdiction has caused countries world wide to speed-up the process of de dollarization. In 2014 a french bank BNP Paribas paid $9 billion dollars to the US as fine for having violated American sanctions against Iran.

One thing hai... neplese aboard helps and takes intrest on how Nepal is thriving In future..these neplese have seen advanced tech, well civilized, well settled, well educated about law and order etc..these neplese works hard too and never lose interest helping neplese when help is needed on major nature disaster or personally charities or donations....and the money they helped is earned by hard work living outside of Nepal..still helps indeed...and we are more into Nepal rather then other countries because Nepal is only under developed comparing to other countries in whole Asia...why this people need to talk about Ukraine or Russia. or bla bla...focus people...what is most needed now in present talk about that...bring someone who can relate to income increments, proper establishment of job vacancies and platforms...look.for talented one and help them grow to be next interprofessional examples..what is this yar...k siknu ta ABA yo vdo Bata? Nepal lai k faida vayo Ra yo vdo Bata...veda Bakra haru ko dimag ma esto manifest garepachi Prachanda le kursii nakhae kosle kancha ta??

Sir/Ma'am I totally understand your frustration and I even feel the same, but think the other side, we are discussing Geopolitics and foreign policies here, you see politics outside the nation i.e. geopolitics also affects our development, one of the reasons for a nation like India getting massive development project is its diplomatic policies and relations they have good foreign policies, and we as a Nepali also need to learn some, C'mon dai/didi hami le dekhi sakim internal politics Prachanda, KP, and what not abba alik external focus gare sayad bholi bidesh ma abar pareko Nepali le Indian embassy ko barosa basnu na parla ki.

RIP the peoples, in this times who still don't understand, and are busy wasting time watching useless stuffs, and don't care about how the politics works, who are still ignorant to listen and learn from the world history, facts and would like to stay in comfort zone, believing all main stream medias. There you go- The Truths. Learn from the pros.

Mero similar comment again. Jati insightful cha yo conversation, teti nai false accusations. Ukrain le orthodox Christianity ban gareko chaina. Only wants to ban the church that is run by direct Russian control, this becoz yasari tru church rus has heavy influence on ukrain. Blindly don’t take anything guys. This is just one eg. like the guest says make your own judgement.
