I can already tell you, it doesn't matter. Our legal system is not static, it's dynamic. Even people that married out of community of property ended up losing half their assets. We are nearing times when the question of marriage will be placed on the table. Should people get married, why?

Listening to this sit down, digesting everything said on this video and in my opinion: One should Never get married🙅♀🙅♀. Things are way better done solo as the sole owner of their estate - 100% of their assets. There's just sooo many things one cannot guarantee. I mean you can never confirm a person and their intentions in life, so it's always vital to protect yourself. Love yourself and NEVER get married - Save yourself (from) and avoid all sorts of disasters, problems, headaches, illnesses especially stress and hospitalisation. Thank you Prof Phakeng and Prof Marumoagae what an informative exchange🙌

Love the bio story. You can interview in SeTswana and any language you speak fluently enough, and add English subtitles for the rest of us. That would be awesome actually.

Thank you for this conversation, it's really thought provoking as it doesn't point out a perfect system.. All systems have flaws and the route one takes is determined by a decision you are most comfortable in taking. I think a deeper conversation is required focusing on topics outside of divorce but in the unfortunate case of death. My understanding is that this would be a slightly different conversation. For example, your spouses pension fund not completely included in marriage in community of property if I understood the Dr correctly..
