Mac, you cant let numbers dictate the guests, some of us are actually learning from this platform. As much as the Monday episodes always land but we watch Monday episodes because of the celeb episodes, every chiller I know personally started watching P&C because of the celeb episodes. As a chiller who’s been a chiller for years, I get Mac G’s vision. In any business/project/passion it’s important to evolve with time and know when to let go. I still watch the celebrity interviews but not as much as before. I keep up with the Monday episodes and “friends of the show” episodes more than I keep up with the celebrity interviews. I think the idea of a live show on Thursdays is BRILLIANT!!! I’m imagining a chiller having a beer after work on a Thursday watching the live show, relaxing as it’s been a hectic week, laughing and starting to get into the weekend. I think as chillers we need to understand that for Mac G to give us the kind of quality content we want from him he’s gonna have to make money from the podcast, If he’s not making money from the platform then he has to devote most of his time elsewhere where he’s making money for his family. We cannot deny that there’s a business element to the platform and unfortunately every business has to evolve and let go of some things to make room for better ideas & innovations. I think it’s great that he’s thinking of making the celebrity interviews a special. I also think we’ve gotten so used to the interviews that we are not that invested as before. Now that they’re gonna be a special I think when we do get the celebrity interview coming out it’s gonna be exciting and we’re gonna look forward to them more.
