What is happening people!, appreciate you coming back to the channel and this is episode 6 getting into strongman training. In this episode I show the differences between the options of one size sandbag and a fill able. Ideally Having a couple of both would be better when training but being the case of budget for some this are the pros and cons of each design. One size as the name implies is a specific weight bag, in my case a 60kg which is good as the design of the back feels more secure in terms of sandbag packing but then again is only one size. If you are temped to fill a 60kg bag to 50kg it will be saggy and will make training less efficient in terms of maneuvering around. Fill able bags have the benefit of being variable to an extend, ex. up to 70kg with my Cerberus bag which gives you the option to fill it up raging from 50 to 70 kg. Going any lower than half or half makes the bag a bit saggy and has similar effects to the examples above for the training quality. Bonus tip in the video as I mentioned is related to an alternative to keg training as getting a keg is a bit of a challenge. 1. They still can cost many even getting second hand and 2. in a way its ''kinda'' illegal as they are property of brewing companies that rent them to pubs or restaurants for use and collect them back to reuse. I ll leave the choice down to you. Now the item in question is nothing expensive but a regular 25L bottle container that you can find in big companies preferably I would say maybe valeting shops as such or cleaning facilities that buy big stock of cleaning liquids for use. Once they are empty normally they dispose them and if you can for the most of the time they will give them for free. In terms of weight I am using sand as it is heavier than liquid( about 1.5 times ) or you can use concrete ( about 2.5 times heavier) but not as pliable as once it hardens the weight is set.
