I learned about you from “Little Tommy” like so many others. I loved the two episodes you did with him. I’m so glad you have a channel of your own now. I look forward to every episode. I love to listen to your playing and the insights you give about your influences. I also love your Christian spirit and testimony. God bless.

Hey Gordon, I told my dear friend and piano player Barbara Haynes (formerly Hearn) about you and sent her the link to your channel, and she said she already knows who you are, because you used to attend our church, Grace Community Church, when it was meeting at Belmont back in the day. She agreed with me that you are amazing! Barbara has a fantastic record by the way, called “the now and the not yet”. Please check it out. Beautiful voice, beautiful music. God bless you.

Hello Gordon! How are you doing! I was wondering if you could explain your approach to improvising. Are you thinking in terms of chordal movements, or just creating a pleasing melody to expand on. I definitely noticed you do a lot of call and response, how do you transpose these skills in a multi-piece setting? It would be interesting to understand your thought process. Hopefully, these questions will give you something to ponder for the next installment. Well, I've found my new favourite ''uncle'' Groovy Gordon! By the way, I've been playing since I've been knee-high to grasshopper, and I'm well aware of the difficulties required to answer these questions! HAHa, Tricky bugger!
