This past summer, my wife and I traveled cross country in our Dodge Promaster conversion van. We were on the road for 53 days and covered 14,559 miles, going to 26 states and 3 Canadian provinces and 12 national parks along the way. In this vlog, I combine dashcam videos of the changing landscape on the open road with still photography of the major destinations, accompanied by music. Join us as we travel from the East coast, starting with Shenandoah national park to the deep South in Arkansas and Texas to the Southwest and its mighty five national parks and then up the Sierra Nevada range to northern California and the Pacific Northwest before we head back east through the Canadian Rockies and finally end in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Along the way, we encounter beautiful sunrises and sunsets, occasional thunderstorms, and even some summer snow at higher elevations. You won't forget the adorable footage of a moose and its calf in Grand Teton national park or a mama black bear playing with its cub in Yellowstone national park. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and fantastic photography in this special video.
