In Episode 89, I cover Ace Frehley's "Fightin’ for Life" song from his 2024 album "10,000 Volts".
This has to be hands-down the best song on the album. The song was written by Steve Brown from the band Trixter who Ace Frehley teamed up to co-write the album. This song is the album’s hardest rocking song and is about Ace's teenage days of running with a street gang in New York City. Realizing that life was not for him, he learned to play guitar and focused his time and energy on music. Ace has credited that decision to potentially saving his life.
Gear used in the video:
I used my Ace Frehley Budokan Epiphone Les Paul guitar with a Dimarzio Super Distortion pickup in the bridge. My guitar parts were played through my Eleven Rack which was recorded, mixed, and arranged through Logic. The video was edited with Final Cut Pro.
I use Ernie Ball Strings because I want the best like many of my idols like Paul Stanley, Jimmy Page, Billie Joe Armstrong, Angus Young, Joe Bonamassa, and Paul McCartney to name a few.
Thank you for your support of the channel and for keeping the music that created the soundtrack of our lives alive and well.
