A plant episode about lycophytes would be awesome! Super happy to hear Aly is on board for the foreseeable future, plants need the representation!

In light of the new tradition, can we get an episode devoted to the redwood trees? How man types of habitats have they lived through, and how wide spread have they been in the past?

I just discovered the channel so awesome. Great work and I really enjoyed this, being a lesser known extinction. I love all prehistoric life including plants. Keep it up the great pod casts guys.

I'm a software developer & I'd love to do some statistical paleontology work, but not sure how I'd make a living from it & the day job takes up most of my time.

If it's something you'd like to pursue, it's never a bad idea to reach out to local museums and universities and see if they have any ideas.

@@commondescent Thanks, I appreciate the encouragement :) My job is making me relocate again, this time to Connecticut - I imagine there are probably some cool museums in that area
