What do you think about this Epos 3504 Diver? Too expensive for what is essentially an homage (or at least heavily inspired), or do you like what they did to this piece?

I see that they have opted for the Tag Heuer Aquaracer handset, which seems very closely replicated. I'm happy when TH receives some appreciation. Great review thanks!

That’s a homage I would definitely consider!❤️

Very clean looking, sharp, well-made looking watch. The only thing that makes me go huh is the logo. It just seems too big or the font doesn't look quite professional. I would buy this and wear it if it was on sale. I'm ok with the movement at this price

Your comment is right here. KZitem has been buggy lately so sometimes it takes a min for a comment to appear. I’m also not getting notifications like I should.

Another great review. It’s a lovely diver, but not sure why but I just can’t get on board with EPOS. Mido, Oris, Farer, Baltic, when pushing $1500 there are a lot of great options right?

A lot of competition at this price for sure!

I've got the watch titanium on natto Strap very comfortably. I recommend it's not very cheap but worth it

Nice. Dropped a review a few days ago of the titanium LE COSC black Pvd edition.

It's a nice watch but it doesn't rock my boat. Price isn't so bad but it does not excite me. There's a lot more interesting watches out there now for the same monies or less. Plus design seems a little off with that logo size. Anyways great review!! As usual!!

This is probably the most I would pay for a dive watch but assuming the movement is $200 or $300 {note maybe this is a lot less if the manufacturer is buying these in bulk}, it makes you wonder where the rest of the money was spent? What are you getting for the extra $1200 or $1300? Many companies make submariner homage (e.g., Steinhart) and that watch may run you $400 - $600. I just don't see how this watch can cost you nearly twice as much as something like a Steinhart.

You can break that down with a lot of watches (or products for that matter). Steinhart is a good watch, but the bracelet and clasp isn’t anywhere as nice as this epos, nor is the case or dial finishing. Now, is it worth $800 more than a Steinhart, especially with a standard grade movement? Well, worth is subjective. It’s still a nicer watch but the price tag comes from the brand and heritage and that’s true for a lot of things.

Should’ve used a chronometer grade movement for the price

Beautiful. However, I believe watch designers are stuck on stupid. They seem to be only able to make a watch with 43+mm case, 22mm lug width and 50mm lug-to-lug. Why so big???

Because as I talk about in an upcoming review, some people like larger watches. 10-15 years ago this was considered small. Now many want under 40 but some men still have a larger wrist and like a 43 or 44mm watch, even if you don’t. 👊😉

Nice watch, but at this price range, I'm looking at oris. Especially the Oris GMT... I'm kind of over the rolex homage
