Or maybe epoxy platters --- they are about the size, though not the shape of a dinner plate, about a quarter inch thick, and, after drilling a hole a making a swivel mount, it makes an excellent spinning bling when hung from trees in gentle breezes. So far I've made 7 "major" ones and a couple dozen minor epoxy things along with some walking sticks that glow in the dark.
The gong music I made in the studio and it may be a tad louder than you want.
Epoxy can become very hard and tough -- several of the ones in this video blew down in a storm the other day, but suffered no damage. On the other hand, I dropped one on the floor from two feet the other day and chipped off a chunk. So, consider them delicate. However, they do need to be outside to get the movement in breezes. And, sunlight does the best job of charging the glow in the dark pigments that are in them. Over time, sunlight will also add more yellow.
