The Equinox Art Project on Pangbourne Meadow, ( Berkshire, UK ) is an installation utilising works of art from a wide variety of mainly local people, schools and organisations. The artworks are attached to posts arranged in a pattern that reflects the seasonal equinox, the seasons and months of the year. The shape of the installation also harks back to the ancient henges erected throughout Britain by the ancient tribes in prehistoric times. It is the brainchild of local artist Gill Williamson who was responsible for last year's art event - Yarn Bombing the Whitchurch Toll Bridge.
