I love Chorus. Actually most of Erasure. Blue savannah, Sometimes, most of their work except the ABBA tracks. I recommend a load to Derek way back when he started his channel. Though, he never picked up on them which is a shame. Better late than never lol. Same as the Shamen etc all grew up on. Derek said he loves the synthetic stuff. He is so missing out on Chorus. Might blast the album tomorrow in the car lol. Love to hate you, Breathe too. He really does need to hear much of these old tunes I grew up on here in the UK.

Great video! Andy Bell is an amazing singer without sounding forced. In lines like "'cause this TIME I learnt my lesson" it's incredible how he goes so high in a single word (time) in such a smooth transition. Vince Clarke is also a genius here making his synths sound so organic and not robotic. Erasure is not a synth pop duo. They're perfect pop.

Erasure is another group that has had a few hits in the US. Like most UK singers/bands they are more popular in Europe, Latin America, and everywhere else. Erasure's catalog of music is wonderful. Andy also has his solo work as well. I'm sure you'll get alot of other great songs from them in the comment section. "Blue Savannah", "Chorus", "Love to Hate You", "I Love Saturday", "Run to the Sun", "Fingers and Thumbs (Cold Summer's Day)", "Don't say your Love is Killing Me", and "Loving Man". They also had second Christmas song, "Make It Wonderful". The first being, "She Won't Be Home", a must listen to as well. Enjoy! 🎶

Great choice Dereck! And to answer your question this was played in the clubs, at least in the clubs I went to here in LA. They definitely had a huge impact on me in the 80s and 90s. Masters of synth pop and a hook that you can’t resist. There are so many great songs which you could choose and not go wrong. My favorite Erasure track is “Sometimes” which I think you’d enjoy (synths!) kzitem.info/news/bejne/tGeXnoV3e31_omU You should definitely consider their first really big hit “Oh L’Anour” kzitem.info/news/bejne/zHya261uqoN6gpw Some others to consider “Bkue Savannah” EPIC synths on this track kzitem.info/news/bejne/qZCGt6iYb4CIfoI “Chorus” kzitem.info/news/bejne/om6CvGtriX-kmIo“STOP!”, “Drama” (this song is a real synth banger!) kzitem.info/news/bejne/lZ2tz32kjoCXkqg “STOP!” kzitem.info/news/bejne/qoqvvp6Pbn5ekno “Chains of Love” kzitem.info/news/bejne/l4BotaB_qYOYeW0 “Always” kzitem.info/news/bejne/zY2nsIiBnayflII Thanks for coming back to Erasure and hopefully it won’t be months until we get to see you react to more of their amazing music ❤️
