Im in my 30s and have suffered from ed for a while now, my blood tests have all came back normal,i have suffered from anxiety most of my life. I tried strengthening the pelvic floor with kegel exercises that never worked, just recently i drastically reduced the amoint of times i masturbate and have tried breathing exercises to relax me and the pelvic floor, within a week my erections were a lot better again, ive come to realise that the whole ive been suffering with anxiety, my pelvic floor has been super tight and learning to relax it has helped heaps.

Anxiety & stress can certainly affect our pelvic floor (making it tight/tense). We would still recommend being evaluated by a pelvic floor PT. It's important to ensure that the exercises you are doing, continue to work for you, and not against any progress you are making. The pelvic floor has a lot of influence on the rest of your body! Thanks for the info! I'm in my mid40s . Although I consider myself to be fairly healthy., its not easy, actually embarrassing, to accept that I'm starting to have issues with ED.

How long does it take to release the tension in the pelvic floor

This depends on your current pelvic floor state and other influential factors (stress, exercise routine, general routines for sitting/standing, etc).

I have been struggling with ED and penis shrinkage caused by pelvic floor tension for months and I'm seeking help to a PT. Can men recover their erection and size 100% or they can't fully recover?

Glad you are seeking help from a pelvic floor PT! Men can definitely overcome pelvic floor dysfunction and have improved and normal erections! Often times it takes a multidisciplinary approach and working with both PT and urologist or other healthcare provider (depending on your specific situation) to identify all areas that may be involved including hormones, blood flow, diet, cardiovascular health, and pelvic floor dysfunction. To reach 100% you will want to make sure all potential factors are being addressed.

You would seek a consultation with a pelvic floor physical therapist! They can evaluate you and help determine your cause of ED or if you have any other pelvic floor issues.
