@@NoOne-kr4jc Me being a musician can say, we love music and love to play. We do not play just as a MERE PERFORMANCE. ONCE WE GEL WITH ANOTHER MUSICIAN (BIG / SMALL) we just ENJOY. True musicians have no feeling of big / small, senior/ junior. For example Chet Atkins was older to Mark / Clapton, yet he respected them, vice-versa too. 🤗 CHEERS MANN 👍. HAVE A GOOD DAY

I've just watched four or five videos of Clapton/Knopfler, and I'm struck by two things: Clapton never seems to solo when Knopfler's onstage, and Clapton has never, ever seemed more comfortable in the company of another musician than he is when he's with Knopfler.

As always. Eric is great. But Why doesn't Mark Knopfler get as much credit. His style is unmistakable, He's one heck of a composer, and has material out that shows his versatility and skill from country (with Chet Atkins) to great solo work like Boom, Like That, Trawlerman's Song, etc. Like SRV, there isn't a song he's put out that I didn't like.

@Stratocasterhead51 there has always been bad music and there will always be bad music. It's not like the 2000's came around and everyone just decided to suck. I'm glad that you listen to good, old music, but whether it is old or not makes no difference. There is good music now, there was good music back then, there will be good music in the future. Good music is good music and to hold the sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties as times when there was nothing but good music is just wrong.
