What chops, what a sound, what a lineup (Greg Philinganes on keys, Nathan East on bass, Phil Collins on drums), what a groove! EC remains a legend!

Love listening to the many different live versions of what is arguably one of EC's best live songs. Not only does Eric bring something different each time but it's great hearing Phil's particular groove.

I've been binging on live versions of 'Shot', Steve. Agree with you - I reckon this track is THE one that consistently brings the best out of him. Each time, he brings something new to it. To think of where it's come from since he released it as a single....

How can 4 guys create such a fantastic version of what is a classic? (And love how Nathan just wanders around the stage, playing effortlessly and with such soul.)

What a crazy good band! His guitar tone, their stage presence, that solo, those wils bends and vibrato... definitely one of his best performances!

Playing an early signature model with 21 frets, which in the final design had 22. Great tone here.

So I wasn't expecting that tone in that solo and it surprised me. Sounds SO beautiful. He didn't use this tone very frequently but I wish that he did.

His late 80's tone was his greatest indeed. And it lasted until 1992 or 1994 I guess.
