Yeah I miss that whole setup. He started using the Black Strat (body) in August 1990 I think (from footage I've seen). The flame neck is the '88 Mike Stevens one previously fitted to the Pewter body seen in the 1990 RAH footage.

Worth noting too that wasn't just the Strat+Lace Sensors+Soldano head (the 2nd was a spare). There was a whole load of effects processing too. A massive rack! But the result was amazing! I think there was mostly a bit of 'chorus' dialled in (minimal amount so you just get a hint of it).

@@CompleteCretinI’ve heard that the 2 heads were running in parallel, as Pete Cornish set them up that way so they were both interchangeable and could also be played at the same time. As you say, his rack at that time was huuuuge.

@@CompleteCretin I just noticed that. I've watched this one dozens of times now and never caught the string break at 5:51. Funny how at 6:06 he tried playing something on the same string that was broken, haha! I love such fun moments in music.

Inigualable. Inalcanzable. SLOWHAND, THE BEST EVER!!!!!
