Had the honor of playing a gig with Eric in Sacramento! Super funny, Super down to earth, Super talented and he gave me a compliment on my piano playing! I was honored to play with him. Oh and he killed that night with a red velvet blazer on. Didn’t miss a beat!

Just play around at home with different patterns and play with music but really mess around with it. You can teach yourself quite a bit from self improv/ jamming/ experimenting...

Note for note, Moore is arguably one of the best modern drummers to ever have swung the sticks. He redefines the notions "clean" and "effortless" with every video of him I see. I'm always dumbstruck by his abilities and pure unmitigated talent.

I always find it kind of cool from a drummers perspective to hear the drums sound from behind the kit, knowing how huge the sound must be coming from out of the massive PA line arrays out front. Just kind of cool to me!

by the way I'm a Jamaican drummer.... But thanks to drummers like Eric I have a different taste and feel in playing......i mean these Jamaican drummers only focus on reggae and dancehall and majority of the drummers don't practice rudiments or even use stick techniques

But its the feel and groove that makes it fun to play. Having to be good at rudiments or techniques isnt so important in my book. As long as it has that feel good and groove which engages with people then you're doing the right thing.
