That "Outro" is so beautifully done! It makes me realize that I need to get back to exploring my Syntrx more...

Great to see Thomann has knowledgeable staff! This is a great boutique synth! Hard to obtain these days and even harder to obtain in the future.

Hi . Thanks for posting this , I purchased a Syntrx and couldn't get my head around the patching matrix , after watching this a few times I'm beginning to figure it out and also where I was going wrong

I wish more modular synth company’s would make synths with a patch matrix It’s an amazing concept- and u can make super sick patches without any cable involved it’s actually more hands on Ofcourse it only works in a standalone version

Plus all the recalability! It would be great to make it fast enough to switch patches per step in a sequencer, like elektron stuff🙌🔥

Some of this was very reminiscent of Stephan Bodzin's lush melodies/sounds... Hearing "awww...dayumm" in a German accent made this even more enjoyable than it already was ;)

I love my Syntrx, one thing I could wish for was that it would respond to program change the matrix i mean like in their stand alone Matrix Mixer

Could you share the midi file of the sequence? I reproduced the patch on iVCS app but it sounds quite different... Or this could be the difference between hardware and software... 🙄 Still an inspiring video and nice sounding synth and effects.

I love Erica Synths. This is a great synth and its shame the last batch is going out now, they will not produce more. This is the closes to modern SINTHi you can get. Now, my issue with this is that it has has few design flaws. First, why would you need speakers, so much space. VU meter is a nice touch, but all those things could ve been removed and matrix expanded, display added for easier utility and patch changes. It sounds very clean but it can get gnarly quick.

Cool synth, but a pain that patches cannot be saved. At that price point they should have added that feature. Nice demo though - keep em coming!

You didn't search very far.. "It has 256 patch memory, automatic patch switching in performance mode or via MIDI messages" If you look closer, you will see a save and recall button. Google is my friend and should be yours too ;)

@@ElCamelloLocoO Yes but the position of the knobs are not saved right? Its just the connection in the patch matrix?
@kris9074

@@ricobenavides Yep. Just the settings in the patch matrix are saved. Kind of an odd choice not to save knob positions.
@kimspence-jones4765
2 жыл бұрын
@@kris9074 I’m guessing that some at least of the knobs not controllable via the matrix actually have a direct physical connection to the electronics. Maybe ‘only saving some of the knob positions’ was considered too confusing?

you can't circular patch on a 2600 though. that's where the fun stuff comes in
