What a Beautifully, SOLID, ABLE, and Awesome Car in Mud, Slush, Snow!! I had a '73, Model 96, not a two-stroker, sadly. But It Taught me Much about VT Winters into-Spring-time. It lasted until a collision in South Woodstock avoiding a famous DMC-Riding-Actor's dang SHEEP that were in-the-Road, {Yes, Mc Fly, YOU Owe Me!!). But that Shift-On-The-Fly 4-sp will always be a 'thing' I cherish, almost as much as Cruising thru 3" of Mud on VT dirt-roads, like a Subaru WISHED It could've. Off-road (well, kinda; Type 11 VT 'roads' are, actually cowpaths of wagon-width, but, still on many maps!) , I didn't get 'Stuck', unlike my '99 upon 'Agony Hill' {so well named, in Reading, VT} did. Both cars were Adept in 'venturing', and Fast & Agile on non-asphalt, and tar-mac, alike. The Saab I miss most, was my Sonnet V-4. But ya know, in Racing, being tall-enough to 'see-past' the guy ahead, almost counters a lower CG!? Who Knew? Oh, Erik Pa Takett did.. Should've known.. LOL
