I guess the sounds have been done before, but every single sound on this album fits perfectly, The mixing techniques included panning the drums in a really cool way with blending and panning multiple guitars. I think Slash and Myles are a great combo as well. They are masters of their roles in the band and it seems like they don't step on eachother's feet. They are all keeping it real and I appreciate that. Myles is a much better singer than Axl IMO. They both have startlingly wide ranges for men though.

I loved Guns ‘n Roses (despite Axl being a douche), but I never imagined that Slash would go on to create his own “planet” with these amazingly talented musicians. He clearly has a vision of his rock and the drive to make it the very best it can be. Kudos to all of you, including young Elvis the producer. You have to have some big brass balls to be able to tell Slash “That was really good man, but don’t you think you can do it even better?”

I love this. Thank you so much for sharing. I absolutely adore Slash, and as an incarnated GnR fan since my early teenage years, I always had a very hard time hear other singers attempt at any GnR song -until I heard Myles sing them. He is absolutely amazing. Such a great group Slash got together. I can't wait to see them live again -or a new album...

Nice to see people who still remember the vibe and value of doing things "old school". If digital died tomorrow I wouldn't shed a tear.

Slash is so down to earth focused on the music , it must have been a pain in the ass to be in a band with the pre madonna at the end of GnRs

You know... I look up to Slash, SO MUCH, as my guitar freaking icon, that when I find myself playing guitar, I will find myself knocking great material, because I think to myself "Oh, that's not something that Slash, or Angus, or Jimmy Paige, or just any of my hero's, (even though slash is certainly my biggest influence) would play". And I just wanted to point out, to anyone who might also be having some sort of "creative block", if you will, or you are struggling with your sound, or even identity, musically, that I can't stress enough, just how ,VERY, important it is, to find YOURSELF. YOUR sound. YOUR melodies. AND YOUR, INSPIRATION! Because the day you find YOUR SOUND, and YOUR MELODIES, and let them out for the world to hear... You might just be that next kids biggest influence, being regarded as the next big guitarist of the world. It is so important. And we must remember that none of our icons made their way, or music, by just trying to copy their icons and hero's. So to sum it up, as long as this is, haha: YES, my biggest musical inspiration is Slash, and I one day hope to meet Slash more so than anyone else in the world, honestly, but I just wanted to say how important being yourself, finding your genuine, and completely original sound truly is... And how doing so could completely change the musical world. Originality is truly key, and is what keeps icons, becoming icons, and what makes all TRUE works or art, such as Sweet Child O' Mine, and Paradise City, playing for decades past when it was released. It is, and always should be the most powerful factor in all music making. Originality, and being totally genuine. Everyone have a great day, and as to my musical hero, and greatest inspiration: Slash, keep rocking on, and making the completely genuine, and totally self-made music that you, ALWAYS, have made, and I can not wait to see what you come out with next! You are a TRUE ARTIST, and I am so glad to see the success you have been accompanied with, and just want to also say... You completely deserve it. To those about to rock... I salute you. \m/ -Hunter Parleir

I don’t think any music is completely original as to what your asking for. Slash likes joe perry and Keith Richards a lot, i think he’d say he loves them, and you can hear them in his playing. Also just my opinion though.
