@@galiamarkova3775 well whatever you interpret it to mean, the sign should say “Idiots, go home.” You should not talk bad about the people who are paying their money and time to support your local economy. Remember when the COVID lockdowns happened? Tourists did stay home and some businesses STILL have not fully recovered or had to permanently shut down. Yes there are some bad apples who spoil it for all, but it should not apply to the tourists who are there to have a great time in a mature manner.

@@travelwalks749 l agree that talking bad is not good, but l can understand that some of them have lost their patience with the mobs of tourists. I had seen a documentary discussing the problems of Venice. Life there is getting more and more expensive due to the tourism and a number of the locals are forced to leave . They just can't afford living there and are obviously dissatisfied.

@@galiamarkova3775 I appreciate the comments, however if the locals have issues with tourism issues, they should take it up with their local government. Their local government should develop some protocol plans to aid in tourist crowd control. If the local government refuses to do anything, federal government should aid in doing something... if its too out of control well..... what is there left to do for the locals? You can either leave and rent out your home to the tourists who are willing to pay top dollar for a place to stay...and use that money to buy another flat or house away from the heavy touristy areas of Venice...or stay there during the heavy tourist season, complain and complain and be continue to be miserable. The choice is yours. We can talk about this for days! Have a wonderful rest of your week.
