I got the 8 channel escope with the intelligent engine analyzer. My favorite most useful tool in my toolbox

I would for sure get one if they did financing to everybody and not just business owners. That scope is by far the best I've ever seen displayed, especially in Bernies hands.

Is there a way to tell the voltage of a channel once it’s moved off of zero? Seems like if you move one of the channels up the zero point doesn’t move with it. If it was reading 12v and you move it up 2v doesn’t it read 14v? Sure I’m missing something but when I run the demo version it was just something I noticed. Has a lot of nice features though.

No it’s a very common complaint and a big reason my escope sits while I bust out my Pico. The hardware is fantastic, the whole package you get with an escope tablet is just perfect. The software is very outdated. No need for attenuators, common ground hookup, basically non existent voltage or time base setup. That all makes it great, but there is a few too many drawbacks to be a top dog in today’s world of automotive scopes.

No it does not add to it like you were saying. You can also use your cursors as well that’s what I typically do. There are so many test and features on the scope, that no other company has even a Pico.

When you get a chance go into the demo, move them up like you said, then grab a cursor and measure the voltage. If you notice it’ll be the exact voltage and it will not be off.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll play around with it some more. Our shop has a pico so have been using that. Seems like both have their pros and cons.

@@weldingjunkie I deleted my other comment, mostly because it was negative and honestly these guys are just amazing with what they do. I mean no harm to this scope, I have a 4425 that I enjoy using more but I occasionally pick this one up like you said the deep record is fantastic and is well over Picos head. I just wish it was updated to match newer features out in the market. But these guys honestly are so good with their tech support that I support them 100%. No company’s ceo/owner has told me to call them late at night (when I said I won’t be able to call until after work) and given me their personal cell phone number in case I needed help with their tools. Seriously they run it like a mom and pop from 50 years ago, you cannot find that anywhere. AESWave is the only company similar.

That’s awesome. I’ll keep that in mind when I’m in the market again for a scope.

Please add custom probes setting, channel scaling, math channels, and higher sample rates! Love my ATS but my 200 dollar Pico is better at a lot of things!
