Thank you for talking about your hair journey!!! It is so reaffirming to bear witness to your voice as you acknowledge the effects of aging and/or health issues and how you are exerting your agency to respond to this situation in a way that brings you joy 💆♀️

I was admiring this aran sweater whole hour 😍 so beautiful, have to make one for me. Little tip about how I knit cables, I use wonderful app called Row Counter - Knit and Crochet. So good, I have all my WIP's there, each of them has different counters and for cable cardigan I have main counter with 4 additional counters for cables/pattern moves/buttonholes/sleeves, and when I add 1 row for mane counter, all others add one too if they linked with main one, and they can have repeats, like f.e. cables neet to twist every 6 row, so this additional counter will count only till 6 and then starts all over while main counts all rows as you work. I use it with every project that needs few different countings. Also there is a timer, and now I know how long I make every project in hours 😊 and a beautiful thing, you can add patterns from your ravelry library (or from your device) to have it there next to counters ❤ isn't it fantastic! (Sorry, not an advertisement, just wanted to share my favourite tool😊)

Beautiful knits as always. Hair - add 5 drops of rosemary oil to your shampoo & conditioner when you wash your beautiful hair. For brunettes it helps to keep your dark colour and for everyone it helps promote hair growth, slow breakage and add strength. Blondes can use chamomile instead. I really struggled through menopause and had forgotten about rosemary which I always used in my youth. Now I use it in conjunction with my HRT (hospital prescribed and not for everyone I know) and I've never had so many compliments about my hair. Good luck and thank you both for your wonderful podcasts.

I love the sweaters you are wearing. It was my first color work last spring . I can’t wait to wear mine. It’s still a bit warm in Illinois but hoping soon for sweater weather. I love it so much I want to make another. The fit is wonderful. AND I noticed your hair right away. I just thought wow your hair grows fast. So natural and perfect for you. Love the podcast

I think Ailbiona is one of the most fantastic Knitwear Designers around! I knitted her Braids of Grass and LOVE it, of course using De Rerum Natura helped the project immensely! Love your jumpers, both of you! I want to knit the Drops now as well. I have knitted two garments with that shaped sleeve and really like how it fits. It adds structure without to much formality. Another designer I really love, her patterns and designs are fantastic - is Truly Myrtle ( Libby Jonson) from New Zealand. Somehow I feel that both of you will love her as well. By the way Steph, I have now knitted 3 Turtle Dove's for myself, my Mum and my sister and am thinking of another for me!! If anyone out there has not knitted that yet, you should!!!

I adore seeing you two wearing the same/different baccarat sweater. Dark hair = light sweater or light hair = dark sweater. Both are stunning! I love, love listening to your chit chat….

I enjoyed your podcast as always! As I was first watching, I kept thinking, How did Steph’s hair grow that much in such a short period of time? It never occurred to me that you were wearing a wig since it looked so natural. How wonderful of you to explain that to everyone. So many women and men have issues with thinning hair. I will see you at Rhinebeck. I wish I had a folly skirt to wear!

Good for you Steph, I'm in the same place with thinning hair, and I've been playing with wearing hair for a year or more now. I've tried halos and toppers, both of which work well for me, but I've just bought a wig - got a conference in Singapore and anyone with fine frizzy hair knows, that's an impossible challenge when you need to look polished. You do not have to earn the right to wear a wig with chemo or alopaecia (although I have had chemo, I didnt lose any hair!). Every woman deserves the hair they want whether they achieve it with colouring, cutting or wearing extra!

My first time watching your podcast. Wouldn't you know, your special guest, Mona Schmidt, shares my last name! The intarsia work is well done! Steph, your WIP is gorgeous. And I sure do want to knit it when the pattern is released. Or, if you need test knitters, I'd love to take on the challenge.
