To learn about the cashmere industry (and some insight into the varying qualities of today’s fibre) listen to Episode 11 (July 23, 2023) of the audio podcast The Economics of Everyday Things. Fascinating!

Now this was a super exciting episode!!! Well your videos always are, but this one 🥰 I already love Jolly and I haven't even seen or felt it except here. Sadly I have to wait to purchase it but fingers crossed, it will be available around Christmas! Thanks for this. And congratulations on the Cruise, Patty Lyons and the Cabin Boys alone would make it worth it for me!

Sometimes, if you think about it, please comment on how practical it would be to make them as cardigans, since some of the heavier sweaters would be outerwear where I live. I really like the gridlove, in particular. I made the ankers cardigan in DK and made size 1, and im a medium, it turned out perfect, but that was lucky.

We haven't covered this because to be honest it is a very advanced modification: you would need to change the placement of the increases on each increase row so they are balanced around a centre split, and you would need to adjust the colourwork placement, in order to get the best fit for a cardigan. In addition, many people prefer to knit colourwork in the round so you would need to add stitches and then steek the sweater, or knit colourwork flat. In the meantime, we do have some cardigan designs available on Ravelry and our website! -Naomi

Hi! Thank you for such an inspiring episode, filled qith great tips and recommendations. I was wondering if you think the nightfall mittens would fit a typical small-sized hand man ? Would you recommend adding a few rounds?

The measurements are in the pattern: Hand Circumference: 9" / 23 cm Length from Cuff to Tip: 8.75" / 22 cm. I'm actually planning to knit a pair for my dad for Christmas and I'm going to use 0.5mm bigger needle to easily shift the size a bit bigger! You may need to add extra rounds for length, you could knit rows 3, 13, 37, and 47 twice each, to add more length and keep the colourwork balanced. -Naomi
