Thanks Kris! Definitely caught me by surprise. I was really looking forward to getting home with the tail wind in an hour and thirty minutes. Once this pandemic ends let's get together and get our Seaplane rating as discussed. Hope to see you and Kim soon!

So glad I found your YT channel. I love the harmonizing sounds of the engines. Several years ago I rode in a Baron C55 from Iowa back home to Indiana and enjoyed the ride. I am a former Private pilot with SEL rating. Keep up the great videos with the engines as background “music”. Miss my old flying days. Ran out of time and money lol.

I don’t know why I watched this video. But I’m glad I did. It’s helping me with anxiety. One day I’ll build up enough strength to actually take a plane instead of drive

Good to join your channel. I have always loved flying. My father-in-law had a Cherokee 6 (N32197) and I flew with him multiple times. He passed in 2014 but oh how he loved to fly! Nothing beats the thrill of flying and listening to ATC. Really like listening in to your channel. So cool you’re flying in my area of the country too. I live in Dublin Ohio. Keep those wings level and God Bless!

But I wanted to get more info I to wanted to get into flying and needed some great advice .... plus I subscribe I reside in Kansas City Kansas and wanted to know what flight schools would you recommend????
@tonymarks4043

We defininetly need to keep the trucks rolling even during these times. They are very essential! Most of the smaller, local airports have flight schools and offer a free introductory flight. I recommend you start with the FBO at Sherman Army Airfield. Let me know if I can help you in any other way. Thank you for subscribing and your comment. Prime with the electric fuel pumps, throttles set around the 1,000 rpm range, lean until the engine starts to fire then richen slowly. This works every time for me.

Why didn't you use your radar?
@tonymarks4043
4 жыл бұрын
That is a great question. Actually I did use the radar for a short period of time but I also listened to what the other pilots were doing and what the controllers recommended. The storm grew big fast. You can hear the controller say it was 200 miles long and 45 miles wide. Once he said that my mind was made to go all the way around. Thank you for the question.
