Consistency and speed to serve will be a big reason for a bar to buy in. A lower profit per drink, but higher satisfaction (repeat buys) and higher volume could counteract that.

I’ve tried a lot of canned cocktails and most are overly sweet and not strong enough ABV. But I recently tried Shaka can cocktails which is a canned cocktail but you add ice to the can and a special top to shake it. Daiquiri and the Mai Tai was 20% abv and not bad. Not like a fresh made cocktail but probably the best I’ve tried to date.

In my experience, the canned cocktails are garbage. I had one as of 2022. They tasted plastic to me. (I'm also a home bartender.) Also, my margarita is typically 30% abv. I like the 2/1/1 ratio of tequila/cointreau/lime. I don't use additional sugar.

I would rather drink one of those canned cocktails if i needed something on the go, as opposed to a beer or alcopop but you cannot beat a proper freshly mixed cocktail if you’re in a bar or at home. It’s like a packet mix cake versus home made
