@@paulharper4196 You are spot on lol I was around all through the 90s when pills were everywhere, it was EXACTLY like that. Coming up was the best ever, this crap pill aint working and you would walk about and chat and then woah, that feeling man as you come up, it is impossible to describe to anyone that has not done pills, the same with speed or coke or mandy etc loool Shit I would never touch any drugs again as I am past all that nonsense but I can not help but miss that feeling loool. Some of the stories and things I remember, standing at a bar as we used to go to pubs first before clubbing and it was almost just like that, music playing and I had done a pill or two and was waiting, having a drink and I turned to my mate and said this pills from that bloke is shit mate, It is doing nothing and just like that my neck and my back man lool and when I looked up again my mates face as he smiled at me made him look like a clown or something, well you know how it goes mate, the rest of the night was awesome lol. I wish we could share stories man as we would both relate to them so well lol. I remember walking home with someone one night and describing the correct way to walk a dog, I bent my knees for some reason and was showing how low you can go to get to the dogs level and somehow with him managed to walk over 2 hours in that position, wanting to make my point known that this is how you walk small dogs, what people must have thought when I walked past like that I have no idea lool Oh well, the list of things that happened and stories are endless. @Wristpecked Whamming I presume your American. Some Brits have lead lives which are interesting and outside social norms. Many people find fascination listening to exploits & experiences that are relatable, by location and periods of time. Also its refreshing to hear these stories, that arent distorted by media or typical Amercian bollocks, that is perpetrated by movies. You should probably return to watching more accurate depictions of " real gangsters" such as Sons Of Anarchy.(We call that sarcasm)

@Wristpecked Whamming Not sure if I believed you.Your use of the words "highschool" & "retard" lead me to believe your claim of living near Essex may be untrue.I had lived in Essex for 56 years.Irrespective of which label we choose for Carlton ie Gangster, hooligan etc.He has a story to tell. Many find fascinating.I witnessed Carlton diplomatically and courteously refuse entry to a group at an Essex club many years ago. When his polite attitude, was rebuffed and deemed to be weakness, said group attempted to overide his decision. What followed would leave those lacking in confidence in his abilities, in no doubt.Anyway peace & love from Essex.

The black and white ball at the Albert hall and 'once upon a time' at eagle ward studios ( the last time I saw Tony ) Carlton and his boys where my security through all of this journey and he was absolutely fabulous! I couldn't have wished for a better right hand man running the security side of my events. ! Superb , professional and an amazing guy! Lost of funny stories too. We had it all going on in crazy but very fun times, lots of laughs too. Being a female he was also the perfect gentleman and very caring and protective over me and my business partner another female . I was and will always be grateful and have a huge place in my heart for Carlton. Haven't seen him in years but never forgotten. He was my gentle giant.Nigel lived a few doors away from me in those times. That's another story, but, yep! He ended up DJing at the ministry too. Fun times!

I met Billy murray who played Jonny Allen in east Enders in Bow ATS, and he told me about the movie rise of the foot soldier he had coming out so on his advice and he was directing it I watched it and was very pleased! Quality movie.

Always enjoy this channel and the interviews, I always liked the naughty people when I was in the RAF I always gravitated to the crowd of folk who didnt get the "long service and good conduct medal" the stories were always better. Keep up the good work.

When you do Go to Football for a Scrap, get Hit, and realise You AREN'T Gonna Break, it becomes Addictive as f. Spoke to Carlton on Facebook years back(2010ish, and He Accepted my Friends Request). Not long after I 1st saw Rise. The "hammer" in the name, and the pictures he had up, showed it was him. Seems like a really nice bloke. He'd send me Invitations for Movies. Probably just to All his Facebook friends but. HMFC#1, HHGH Good luck with the Podcast thing James. My vote is in for You, even though I've only watched 4-5 of Your Podcasts so far. You are the Main one I Do watch now, after the Luke Mitchell one. I grew up in that Area, so Knew quite a bit Bout it. Like 1 of the Other Suspects that were brought in for questioning. Great Interview mate. 👏👌👍✌️⚜️
