The guy with the missing leg, of course, lost it in Iraq, his nickname is Crispy, and for good reason. He was on patrol when his Humvee went over a 200 lb IED, the truck flew about 6 feet in the air and I think everyone but him died instantly. Insurgents started firing at the convoy from the roof tops. Crispy on the 50. cal and fired at the insurgents until the barrel melted. After the gun jammed, he grabbed his m4 and jumped off the truck, breaking both of his legs. He fired at the insurgents with his m4 until he was dry. He was dragged by a friendly into an operational Humvee. Funny enough the driver of the new Humvee was new to Iraq, and it was his first day on patrol. The horrified driver screamed his ass off until Crispy "slapped the shit" out of him and told him to to "shut the fuck up, were getting out of this." When he poured water over his head, the IED chemicals got in his eyes leaving him temporarily blind. He then had to lead the shocked new guy back to the FOB using his memory alone. Overall he had burns over 75% and lost one leg, he was told he had a 30% chance of survival but he pulled through. I can not do this story much justice as I did not experience these events, I recommend you go see a KZitem video or article about this story told by him, because I probably got some things wrong.

The crayon joke with Logan is a reference to "Crayon-Eaters" a friendly inter service insult for Marines (similar to everyone jokingly calling the Air Force the Chair Force). Logan is a retired Marine Scout Sniper.

If you are curious on the reference to canyons... here is the back story "Of these stereotypes-in-jest, the one I’m obviously most familiar with is the classic, “Marines are dumb,” vein of humor-because I still hear them about as often as a veteran as I did on active duty. It comes in a variety of forms-from unflattering uses of the name “Jarhead” (originally coined because of our haircuts) to jokes about ASVAB waivers (suggesting the Marines will take recruits that fail to reach the minimum score of 32 on the ASVAB test). By far, however, the most popular way to insult a Marine’s intelligence is to call him or her a crayon eater."

So here's the thing about clowns. I'm not personally afraid of them. That said, if you think about it... what is a clown? It's a middle-aged man who's basically dropped out of society for one reason or another, whose idea of both a good job and a good time is to dress up in anonymity-promoting makeup and costumes and then hang out with young children. Pretty creepy, no?

I used to have a .44 Desert Eagle Mk VII with an alloy frame, it was 10 oz lighter than the regular steel frame Desert Eagle. The current Mk XIX models are about 4.5 lbs. unloaded, a bit over 2 kg. They're super accurate and powerful. As far as I know no one makes speedloaders for .44 magnum, so as you have a spare magazine, you can reload faster. I've never shot a .357 or .50 in a Desert Eagle. I met a young airman at my local range who had a Desert Eagle Mk VII in .41 magnum and he had painted it and distressed it to look like Deadpool's Desert Eagle.

-They guy lost his leg in the war. - The guy with the collection is because some veterans are compulsive collectors. -Marines are often called crayon eaters, and they have accepted it as a term of endearment. -You beat depression with dark humor. So laugh, make light, and suck it up buttercup, cause YOU need accept its all in your head and YOU are the only one that can make YOU happy.

Cold War era former USAF (not a "veteran" ... never saw war ... "prior service"). I'm currently being treated for depression by the Veterans Administration. Respect, sir. Part of how I cope (besides medication) is watching music reaction videos as well as others, like this one. Thanks for doing what you need to do to take care of yourself, and making content for the rest of us. Cheers.

Depression is treated very differently in the United States based on your social class, economic status, and cultural background. In some circles, people have ready access to psychotherapy and/or drug treatment and are treated very quickly. In other settings, depression can be seen as a sign of weakness or shame, and people are forced to simply hold in their emotions. I grew up in a Mexican/Italian household and mental health was something that was never spoken of. Once every couple of years I try to tell people how I actually feel, what it always just gets either ignored or brushed off. While I would never harm myself, due in part to my Catholic faith, that doesn't stop me from praying to God almost every night that I could just go to sleep and not wake up. I just want to sleep forever. I'm tired of being alone. I'm tired of being ignored. I'm tired of the pain. I'm tired of praying to a god that fear does not exist. I'm tired of having panic attacks and using all my energy to not let them show in public. The only thing I am certain of is that, if there is no afterlife, at least in oblivion I won't feel this pain.

The doll thing is based on how some dolls can look very uncanny and creepy, especially if they're hyper realistic or badly damaged. The clown thing is more psychological, basically that someone is wearing a mask of makeup to hide or distort their face.
