It's awesome she did this album to say she can still do it! Despite all the critics. Pretty awesome!!

Oh my goodness I was so relieved to hear Shania refer to the death of her parents being more important than her divorce! So much respect!!❤️

I feel like she has changed so much. Almost as if she looked at herself from back in 2002 and said "That wasn't actually me" - it's very difficult to understand because I grew up with the Shania of the 2000's and she is nothing like she was back then anymore. She is a middle-aged woman and she has grown and matured but she is my favourite artist of all time and sometimes to watch her in these years and how different she is, is almost like mourning the loss of someone you once knew. She is still my favourite and she is my one and only however her differences are sometimes very hard to accept. It almost feels like she is trying to say that all of those years were a lie - she doesn't really look back to those days and understand how huge and massive they were for us. Her music back then was what made her - I wish she would reflect that in her new success, the only problem is she isn't dwelling on it because her success can be attributed to Mutt Lange and it feels like she doesn't want to look back on those years for that simple reason. I miss the old Shania, however I am incredibly intrigued, interested and fascinated with the new Shania... seeing her on tour next year, my life long dream has came true!!

not at all u might just have that impression shania has the MOST utmost respect for her entire career the career she had was not normal for any standard let alone a simple canadian woman from a small mining town who had just had her entire universe imploded by the tragic deaths of BOTH her parents shania was lucky to make it period she beat huge odds and this is the shania of now she is only now secure enough and old enough to be able to speak openly about her life history and all the horrible life events she had to deal with you cant even imagine what she had to overcome to make it past even just the parents dying she almost ended her career as a singer because her mother was the one who had always been her biggest supporter and cheerleader telling her she had to be a star and to go for her dreams of a recording career this is the truth and only by her knowing her mom would want her to keep going was she able to go to nashville she had nobody in her life giving her a spot or making things happen she had no support from canada she had toleave canada and move to the us to even get her break and even that was pure luck she wasnt even that respected or appreciated by american country music recording and the established music genre didnt like her music or her style or her musical direction in her sound they always made her life hard by questioning her credibility as an artist and musician she was often under estimated people dismissed her as a sex and ass shaking and her actual music talent was not given the respect it deserved her succes in her peak was seen as driven by her husband making it happen and that always stayed with her she alwaays had to deal with people saying her husband was the reason she was that big an do u blame her for now being forced to prove herself she had no choice the industry the critics are the ones who are to blame for shania having had issues with her confidence mabe if they hadnt treated her like a stripper or a cheap second rate talent she wouldnt have had this need to over compensate

Shania, what happened? You look like a whole different person. You were beautiful. You didn't need the cosmetic surgery on your face:(

That house looks very nice. So she didn't grow up on a reservation like she claimed, huh? And one of her brothers disputes her version of events. He says she didn't raise him, that he was sent off to military school. She also had a bio father who DID support her. He was a VIA Rail engineer who got her tickets to perform on the Tommy Hunter show. He had pictures to prove they were together throughout her childhood. So all that said, I don't believe her version of events regarding her divorce.

She wasn't that surprised with the platinum. It was nothing for her. I mean with all her multi-diamond album records, a platinum is just a grain in the sands.

its biig for her at this stage she was gone 15 years shes considered past her prime and her age is an issue for her getting her music played at radio too so this means alot plus this was her album she didnt have any co writers helping her she wrote alone and produced it herself as opposed to before her husband did it and was always given the credit for her success she did this to prove her critics she didnt need mutt to do a great body of work she has real song writting talent always did she wrote all the old stuff to only mutt was in charge of arranging the production and the overall direction of the songs he was very good at makking shania look good he loved her clearly
