A long-lasting light bulb is a reality. The eternal light bulb is a fairy tale. The LED light bulb appeared recently. For 15 years, it has gained great popularity. LED strip is in no less demand. These popular products are produced using a cheaper technology. Therefore, it is often possible to see how the LED light blinks, burns at half an hour, or does not burn at all. It's all about the circuitry. The LED is an electronic component. In fact, it is a PN transition. For its reliable operation, a stable current is required. In modern LED light bulbs, the LEDs are connected in series to reduce the cost of the product. This is not quite correct. Because each LED has its own characteristics. Think of Christmas tree garlands made of small light bulbs. If you screw in light bulbs with different characteristics, some of them will burn dimly, and some will burn out brightly and very quickly. An LED lamp is not quite correct, but still an analogy. In order for an LED light bulb to work for a long time, each LED must have its own current stabilizer, or at least a current limiter. This is exactly what my video is about. I tell you how to make a long-lasting LED light bulb with my own hands and show a working copy.

To increase the current, the stabilizers can be connected in parallel.
One stabilizer can be used for one or more LEDs connected in series. The total voltage of the series-connected LEDs should not exceed 120 volts. For example, for the 12V on-board network of a car, one linear stabilizer can be used for four series-connected LEDs, each of which is designed for 3V 20, 30 or 350 mA. When connecting a smaller number of LEDs, no additional quenching resistors are required. The linear stabilizer will ensure the correct current and the correct voltage on the LEDs.
