Thank you for explaining the tech through a lens so few people understand - it boggles my mind how things like Ethereum and its world computer exist yet blockchains are still considered by most to be useless or worse a scam outright

Thank you for the time and efforts, I come from a software background so I’m impressed as you are about the cleverness and simplicity of this, there would be plenty points to dig and I really like the one you choose. This is fascinating indeed.

great vid as always ser! I really like your summary @ 37:30. People underestimate the property of turing completness of the EVM. There will never be a "qualitatively" more capable VM.

I believe another analogy for turing completeness would be the car vs by foot. You can go by foot anywhere you can by car, but not the other way around. It’s turing complete. Also you get the sense of the different speed scales

Thank you for diving deep and breaking down the components which make up a smart contract. All you're visuals are really great! - was curious if you provide a download of those from your website or NFT or any merch like T-shirts or a book and laminated versions of your diagrams- they are not only useful, but also very visually appealing to look at.

i sort of take the Feynman approach i guess. i try to understand it well enough that i can really explain it in my own words. lots of reading and digging around. if something doesn't quite make sense keep digging and never stop until you get it. it takes time.

I have a question. Where and how did you learn all of this? Was it a book? Please be specific. I view a lot of your videos on both of my channels.

Well, I did computer science in school, so I learned a lot about computers, programming, and systems from that. I've also been pretty obsessed with ethereum etc. since 2017. So I've read a lot of articles and white papers over that time. I also did a bootcamp through Rareskills on Solidity, so I learned to write Solidity there, and also Huf etc. But I think the main thing that has been helpful for me is just thinking and drawing. I've spent a lot of time just thinking about these systems, doing sketches, and writing. To learn anything imo, there should be just as much output as input. Can't just consume info. Must also build your own model and teach it, draw it, explain it.
